If you have to wear a mask for a long time and your ears start to hurt, these are well worth the cost. I didn't intend to like the lanyard option but also found it convenient to just let my mask hang around my neck at times when I didn't need to wear it consistently and was frequently take it on/off.

Not as durable as I thought but they get the job done

These are great and I use them at mass as well as other places but there is a caveat: Before you use them, take them apart and reassemble to ensure the straps are firmly held in place.The first several times I used them, the straps "flew" out of the clip and the parts went flying (see the photo). This was at mass and was somewhat disturbing. I had another one as a spare and the same thing happened. I was going to return them to Amazon and then realized all you have to do is to unscrew the strap holder and make sure the strap is placed properly then re-assemble tight. After that, it's all good. I was going to use glue but so far the re-assembly works well.Again, these are great but you have to prepare each one before use.

I didn't want to lose a cloth mask that a friend made for me, nor do I want to litter if I use a disposable one. So this is like a leash for it, and the plastic hook won't clang or rust as a metal one would. (It doesn't swivel, but it doesn't need to.) It keeps my mask handy when I don't have to wear it (when no one's around), and fast/easy to put the mask on/take off with only touching the ear loops or this cord. It can also be used for double-masking, as long as each mask is earloop style. Works even with beanies on. Stays put and doesn't slip. My ears love it.

Really great how they work to hold mask from under the ear so that hearing aids will not be lost when removing masks!

I bought a pack of these mask straps and in the course of a week three of them have fallen apart. Basically the strap pulls out of the plastic snap-on clasp. This happens with just normal "pulling" to get the strap over the head. Once the strap pulls out it cannot be reinserted. The design would be OK, but the quality of the item is so low as to be almost unusable. The should switch to a different supplier.

The extenders made it possible to remove the mask without pulling out the over-the-ear hearing aids.
