I have a GMC 3500HD that I use to pull a 43' 5th Wheel camper. The fenders on the Dully make it difficult to reach the 5th wheel hitch to connect/disconnect the kingpin. Regular ladders don't work, I have a small pull-out side-step that doesn't work, etc. Hitching and unhitching has been a pain to say the least. This step works perfectly. Out of the box it fit over the outside dually tire. No adjustments were needed. I was surprised at how easy it was to use this step and reach the hitch levers and locking pins without having to touch the side of the truck. The build quality is excellent as well. It has good traction that makes it safe to use in bad weather and it folds up in seconds making it easy to store in the bed of the truck when not in use.The only thing to keep in mind is that when using it to hitch a trailer, you have to remember to take it off of the wheel. It goes on so easy, I could see someone in a hurry pulling away without removing it. I think a pull-away issue is less likely to happen when using the step to service the engine since tools and other stuff has to be put away when the project is done. The mechanic's focus is on the truck. When preparing to depart with a camper there are a lot of back and fourth tasks that need to be completed. The step is made out of steel. It would cause serious damage to the truck body if someone was to move while it was on the tire. Hopefully this isn't a problem and everyone remembers, but I would recommend creating a checklist or something that reminds the driver to verify the tire step is stowed.You cannot go wrong with this step no matter what your use case is. The build quality is excellent. It is sturdy, the steps have fantastic traction, and it installs and folds down in seconds.

This is a bit overkill for me, however, I wanted something very stable and strong. This definitely serves those purposes. I have a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness, and it woks perfect. Yeah, there is not as much room in the wheel well as you might have in a large truck, but with some careful maneuvering it slides right in and works fine. I've set the tire width to the minimum and the step height to the second from the top, and I can now easily and comfortably reach my bike and paddle boards on the roof rack.

Fully adjustable, sturdy. No issues or concerns with it.

This is a nice tire step. It had no trouble supporting my 240 Ibs. It is a little heavier then I expected but it is very manageable. When I took it out of the box, it was quite loose and rattly. I removed most of the bolts, greased the contact areas, added washers and reassembled the step. Much better! I will be using this on my camper van so I can reach the windshield when cleaning the bugs off. Because I will use it only on the van, I will remove the quick adjust pin system and use bolts. This will help the step feel even more solid. I do recommend this step.

Hard to reach my roof rack on my pick up truck. Now with this, no problem loading or unloading the roof rack. It's so well made and strong it'll last a long time. It folds flat enough to fit in small spaces.Adjustable makes this more adaptable to many vehicles. Adjustments for up and down, as well as the tire width. The quality is amazing, I was well pleased with this purchase.

A must have! Very sturdy and makes hooking up gooseneck a breeze! Don't know how I went so long without it!

Works very good. I have oversized tires on my truck and this fits excellently and gives great support when trying to reach into the bed from the side.

Excellent product would highly recommend this quality tire step . Could not reach my fifth wheel hitch with my dually fender sticking out. This step made it easy to reach. Folds up nicely to be stored in truck or trailer.
