Great tailgate, for the price
The tailgate fit great,all the bolt holes were the same as OEM parts, great part for the price.

Well boxed, came without damage, some weld imperfections
unit came double boxed and padded so no damaged happened in shipping.Scuffed all surfaces with gray scotchbright and sanded down a few spotwelds that had sharp metal protruding. Took Toyota superwhite 040 quite well after primer/sealer (HFP158 by High Teck)Lighter than the Toyota part but seems to be good enough quality.Biggest complaint is it does not come with the sealing panel or the nuserts for the sealing panel.The sealing panel is a super simple stamping and it would be nice to have it included as it's not available anymore.

Dents
I just received this. I'm unsure if I should return or just fix it. Why ship something with 4 dents.

Bad Packaging
Tailgate seems to be built well but the shipping packaging is lacking. The first tailgate I bought arrived dented and the replacement one also arrived dented. Neither had damaged shipping boxes, there just isn’t much padding around the sensitive areas of the panel.
