I got this for my eldest child's mates. They took over the dining room, the living room & anywhere else she hid clues.They didn't complete it because they had so much fun & hysterics with the role play (first time doing a murder mystery!). It's not my first rodeo, though, & this is definitely a lovely kit. Well organised, easy to follow, nicely presented, good quality. Love it!

I got this for my mum for Christmas and we played it that night. There were only 5 of us but it still worked really well (just make sure you read out all the clue cards if there are fewer players than cards). We also found a 1930s music playlist which really added to the atmosphere!The story was a bit complicated but just enough to make it interesting without making solving the murder impossible, and there are three possible endings so you can use it more than once.I'd really recommend this game, whether you just want to play it as a family night in or go all out with invitations and dressing up!

I bought this game to play at a dinner party with 7 people. The game suggests that you can play with said amount but I found this to be untrue. There are 12 characters in the story line and I felt you needed all 12 characters to act out the plot. If you don't have all 12 characters, you're constantly confused by names and references. I would only recommend this game if you had 12 people attending.
