I am impressed with the quality of light output on these LED bulbs; the effect is bright and warm and very much resembles incandescent minus the heat output. I purchased these for vintage Restoration Hardware brass floor lamps that get so hot to the touch with incandescents that it's difficult to adjust without burning hands and these did the trick. Great light and convenient six pack. Dimming works well. But the lifespan is just not as long as you would expect from an LED bulb. We've used a six pack in three years across 3 fixtures that use these. So 2 changes per fixture in three years, or about a year and a half of life per bulb.

Like these - looked great in bankers lamp!!

Bought this June 2022. I liked them for their brightness and shape - they perfectly fit my outdoor wall sconces. Price point was fair, too. I realized after I bought them that I would actually prefer a warmer temperature, but oh well, it worked at the time. Two years later all three bulbs stopped working already. I only used the lights during dusk to dawn, so it's well below the 20000 hour estimate. The first one stopped working maybe a year ago, and the last one just stopped working last night (July 2024). To be fair, the seller refunded me for the first bulb that stopped working, so I thought it was a one-off thing. But after the second and third stopped, I realized these bulbs just weren't great quality to begin with.

These bulbs offer very bright, white light (not the warm daylight, yellow tinted kind of light). Have not tried them in a dimmable lamp, but on the old brass desk lamps I've put them in they work great and cause less heat than the original incandescent bulbs which is always nice on a lamp that tends to be close to you and so far the bulbs have lasted well and should also save money due to using less wattage to produce brighter light than older bulbs. Being frosted, the bulb is not harsh if you have to angle the lamp where you can see into it where you sit. I'd personally avoid bulbs for this purpose that are not frosted. Since the light is a bright white, I'm not sure these are best for lighting pictures where you generally see the yellow 'warm' light used, but these are great for reading. Comes packed individually in separate boxes per bulb so they don't knock around against each other so arrived in good order. Pack of 6 is a good amount and comes to near 4 dollars per bulb, and being LED they should last a long time.

Using these bulbs outside on the back deck to provide light for barbecuing and to illuminate the back yard when the dog goes out at night. I had 100 watt equivalent CFLs out there before and I am pleasantly surprised that these LEDs provide as much light--and take no time to warm up to maximum illumination. My only concern is whether they will last the number of service hours claimed. I purchased LEDs off Amazon from another company and one of them just failed in under a year's use.

Will return, they are too yellow. Does not show on photo, but the bulbs have a colour temperature that is not ideal for a dining room.
