Love the material, stretchy and soft. I got a large and it’s perfect without being too tight. I am 5’3 and a quarter and weigh 154.5 lbs. I have thin legs and a small backside and this skirt is about 3 to 4 inches above the knee so not too short for my height. You can pull it up for a shorter look or pull down so that it is not too short based on the occasion. I bought it in white and it is not see thru at all. Material is very soft…thick but not bulky thick. I wore with the rouging part of the skirt face forward with the smooth side in the back it just looked better in my opinion. Based on the material I washed it in cold water on the hand washed cycle and laid flat to dry. I think it would shrink in the dryer because of the material. I plan on buying in black and navy. I'm 5'9", 237ish pounds and got an XL. Fits and looks great! I've recently lost some weight and trying to find my new size in things. I am around a size 16 in jeans, XL/0X in tops, and seemingly XL in bottoms that are stretchy. This isn't tight at all, it is better described as form fitting and is very flattering with all the ruching of it. I was pleasantly surprised at the length of the skirt, it sufficiently covers the booty without risk of cheek slippage but doesn't look matronly or librarian lady in the slightest. Great date night/club/party/whatever skirt if you just want to feel sexy! Hides the belly beautifully.
