On the audi zaw092702b hitch cover, does it extend into hitch and secures in place with a pin

It does extend into the hitch but it does not secure with a pin. Simple friction keeps it in place. I have no concerns that it will spontaneously pop out. It has been in place for many months and its still there.

Does this have the hole in it to put a lock through it?

There is not a hole in the cover where a lock is designed to go through it just a loop where you pull the cover out to out in the trailer ball Best regards

This is a 2 inch cover only, it doest have any hole since it shouldnt have.. it is a simple plastic cover for 2 inch hitches .. The hitch itself have the hole that receives the pin on whatever you are conecting to it.

Does this work on a 2014 Audi Q5?

It works on our 2015 Q5. Not sure if it works the same on 2014 model. Most likely, it should work, since the opening of the tow hitch should be the same size.

The product looks good and it is super-easy to put on. It stays in place but be aware that the ease of installation makes it easy to de-install, i.e., steal. This is the second one I've had because someone liked the first one so much they took it.

Fit my 2019 Audi Q7 perfectly. Did not work on my 2015 Audi Q7. The hitch on the 2015 was just slightly larger and the space was too big for the cover.
