This writing utensil’s my deadly katana or japanese sword. So much more than a simple pen. I first met this gorgeous pen around 2003. I was then and still am now an avid writer/painter.So id buy and try new pens. I found this type and fell in a deep love. They are beyond fantastic. I resided in Arizona Att . This pen made some fantastic drawings and poetry. and the smooth writing is otherworldly. I moved to Illinois but before I bought a few This was 2005, well 20+ years later since then. I babied the last one till it ran out about 4 years ago(kept it even tho empty) i hadn’t New ones anywhere. I’ve looked . I’m extremely resistant to change. I once went to the store at 3:00 am to get this pen, imo worth it..this Pen is smooth ,w great feel and can draw in any any style. I had convinced myself that the pilot V5 was good enough replacement …..Not even close…I tested it just now, and boy does this pen shine. It’s just as wonderful as I remembered, it’s like getting my special weapon in a video game back….ironically was buying a fountain pen on amazon to experiment with writing and drawing then this old love of mine pops up. I was shocked and angry I never checked amazon(I’m a creature of habit I guess)…..I’m unbelievably happy

I've pruchased this a couple of times from this seller over the years. I LOVE these pens. I've carried two on me at all times for what must be DECADES by now. Started buying them here when Walmart stopped carrying them. Always reliable ink flow. Love the precision of the needle point! I hope your supply never runs out because I'm likely to purchase them from you until the day I die!

I am glad these were still in production. We had a lot of random office pens in our house and the couple of these that we had worked by far the best. When the ink ran out of the last one, I searched on Amazon to see if they were still in production. They write so smooth and effortlessly, always dark and legible. I was glad they came as a box of 12 so they will last us for many years to come.

I'm left handed and work in a medical lab. This means that most pens smudge for me and I'm only allowed to write in blue or black. This pen writes very nicely, dries quickly, and the cap stays on consistently.

*Perfect pen* SPOILED by UGLY, PERMANENT INFO STRIP Nearly rated this perfect pen 5-Stars!!! (See photos---sigh.) I was delighted this black ink pen came in really beautiful deep blue, even the cap is beautiful. Then, about to test it---What the....?!!? This is THE perfect pen: Needle tip, perfect .05 flow; BEAUTIFULLY ELEGANT Midnight Blue barrel, designer sculpted cap looks like my expensive blue bike helmet (which I love) ---yet, with black ink---which I needed (don't like the silver/black barrel, but love this elegant deep blue!!) But then I saw the back side. My jaw dropped in disbelief when realized they'd not used a removable label for throwaway info and barcode. This* design SHOULD be suitable for boardrooms, elegant $3000 suits, and fine dining---BUT is ruined by the ugly, permanently printed bar-code/misc info strip. which SHOULD'VE been printed on plasticized removable stickers---like expensive pens it looks like. WHAT a dumb decision. For a picky but enthusiastic pen lover, I'm dismayed at the stupidity of not using removable labels. Even the cheapest junk pens don't ugly their pens this way. DAMN!! (OK---I LOVE BEAUTIFUL PENS. I love needle tip .05!! LOVE premium, water resist, fast dry gel ink!!! I LOVE MIDNIGHT BLUE!! I love the elegant cap design----but that ugly strip is so bad I might as well use my belived old Pilot Precise needle tip .05--- with the cool dbl sided ink-view windows. SHEESH!!!....and CURSES!!!! ;P PS The Journal pages illustrate writing as artform to me. :)

This is my absolute favorite pen. I've been using it for 20 years for bookkeeping my small business, the part I do by hand, anyways. And every signature comes out sharp and crisp. It has the perfect fine tip and the ink comes out smoothly every time and doesn't smudge. Highly recommend.

These pens work incredibly well, and produce a very smooth but thin line. They respond to very light pressure, and the ink dries very quickly (though it takes a bit longer on less absorbent surfaces). They can be a bit finicky about writing upside-down, though they will usually manage it. I've determined that I can take 60-70 pages of notes before the line becomes less smooth and occasionally skips, and it can write that way for about 15 more pages before the ink runs out entirely. (You could throw it out when it started running low, but the skips usually aren't bad enough to make that necessary.) I prefer the blue (which produces a nice dark color), but I've used the black as well and it is also good. To my eye, the line from the black 0.5mm looks a little narrower than the blue 0.5mm, but they're fairly similar. Everyone I've recommended them to has loved them, and I now use them almost exclusively.

Great pens. I was gifted a fine tip pen and fell in love with the sharp writing I can do on paper. When my gifted pen ran out of ink, typically i lose the pen before this time, I kept this pen safe as i really enjoyed using the fine tip, I ordered these pens... they're great, the ink dries very fast, nice size to hold and write for extended periods. I highly recommend this pen if you like fine tipped pens!
