The book has a lot of ideas for cookies. good directions and nice photographs of each idea. Will use this book often.

I had such high expectations for this book after reading the glowing reviews, but I really wasn't that impressed. While I appreciated the step-by-step instructions and pictures, the end results looked somewhat messy and amateurish (more like what I could do!) and not what I would expect from a how-to book. The cookies from Sweet Sugarbelle and Flour Box Bakery online look so much cleaner and more professional, and more what I was expecting. There was also a lot of fondant decorating, which isn't what I was looking for.

Good ideas in this but could use more step by step directions

Love this book. A "need to have" resource book for cookie decorating. Even the novice decorator can feel confident when guided through the steps to creating wonderful tasting and looking cookies. The color photos are great for creating cookies that wow! The results are amazing . The simple steps are encouraging and stimulate the imagination as well. This should be on every bakers list.
