This looks good and solid. Much better option than using a block of wood which could slip. I really like the additional height it offers.

You’ll see many reviews about how slick the rubber is. They are true. It is not safe to use straight out of the box. It will slip off. The simple solution for me was to scrape the top across a cinder block a few times. Just until the shine is gone. That 1 grit sanding treatment seemed to do the trick.

Amazon or Daystar could really provide more dimensions. I bought the wrong one. Like other reviews said it is greasy as heck. 4.5 version didn't suit my floor jack. I'm returning it to buy the 5.5 version.

I have a 4runner with stock tires on stock rims. (265/65/17). I needed to lift the rear by putting the jack under the axle, and my trusty hydraulic shop jack wasn’t tall enough. The first time I used it, I centered everything up, but as the jack extended, the slight angular deflection caused it to slip out from under the axle. (Exciting moment!) I then figured out how to start it at an angle that would square up as the jack extended. I did immediately put a jack stand in place, in case it slipped again. I feel like I would’ve gotten Justice got a performance out of a free piece of 4 x 4 that I already had in the garage. Other thoughts. 1) At full extension, this only got my tire off the ground an inch. Would not work if I had oversized tires. 2) this product is made of a very hard, almost plastic rubber compound. It is exceptionally greasy. I even washed it with Dawn dish soap before I used it because it was leaving oils on my hands. Slippery is not good in this situation!

I have a 3 ton Jack from Costco and this adapter fits perfectly allowing me to lift my lifted Jeep. Then I used it on my daughter's small Kia where you lift on the underside of the uni body Highly recommend

The 4.5" pad doesn't fit on the harbor freight 2.5 Ton Aluminum Racing Floor Jack (the blue & silver one). The jack saddle where the pad is supposed to sit has a diameter of 4.5", but the pad unit I received wasn't able to fit over the saddle. The pad fitting on the bottom was just too small to fit over a 4.5" saddle. The pad itself feels solid and robust, but the molding dimensions, which I assume are supposed to closer to 4.5", are just too small for a good fit on a 4.5" diameter jack saddle. I was hoping to be able to pop this pad on and off as needed when extra lift is required. If you can somehow get this thing to fit a 4.5 diameter jack saddle, then I suspect popping the pad on and off as when needed would be very difficult and time consuming. I have a flat jack pad (no lift provided) that pops on and off the jack saddle, so I measured the dimensions of the bottom of that one and took a dremel to the Daystar to shape it such that it now fits the saddle the same way. The Daystar fits adequately now and can be easily popped on and off as desired.

This item gave me an extra 3 inch of lift height on my HF 3 ton floor jack... it has a recess at bottom that sit over the saddle to avoid moving while lifting the vehicle... the only problem i had was that the item is top heavy causing it to fall of jack and rolling when moving the jack with no weight... I fix this by adjusting and fitting a bungee cord over the item to the jack.

This is a good solid piece. It turned out to be bigger than i anticipated. It works fine but you need to clean off the layer of oil they put on it to prevent any slippage off the jack or jacking point.
