Savoie Old Fashion Dark Roux (2pk)

I’ve used Savoie roux for many years. There’s none better. Great flavor!

Is it better than homemade? Maybe not everyone’s homemade but honestly, it was a huge timesaver and worked like a charm. Will be a regular customer.

I use this in gumbo and it turned out very good. Save a lot of time in the kitchen.

This has been my families go to roux and if you know how to make gumbo this will taste amazing.

For some reason I can make a roux for everything but gumbo, so I use this every time. Living in VA you cannot get good Cajun food locally. I always order from Amazon and have never had an issue with a broken bottle or late shipment.

If I’m being honest, I actually prefer my own dark roux to this premixed version, but for what it was I think it performed very well. And, it saved me a lot of time in what was a tough cooking situation.

Diluted into the water pot well . Melts even. Good dark color . Price is ok and ships . Can’t buy this anywhere in Dallas.
