This product works great for wall mounting the UniFi Dream Machine. It is very sturdy and supports the devices weight very well. However, I do have a concern with how tight the cables are ran through the wholes in the back and plugged into the device. For less of a bend on your cables, it may be best to turn it slightly and not use the wholes in this bracket. Also, as mentioned by others, mounting on a stud would be very difficult because of the distance between screw wholes. Because of this, I mounted in drywall and works well. I would rate this at a 4.2 but rounding down to 4.

If you're not having the UDM sit on a table, this is the perfect mount for walls. It's perfectly white and smooth, so it will not look ugly out in a living space. The spacing allows all ethernet ports to be accessed (see picture). I am using this in a basement where the AP radiates up into the living space, so it's perfect for mounting high on a wall - whether a closet or wherever. The price is right, and it's quality-made - smooth edges, good paint, thought-out design. Includes screws and drywall anchors and with three of them it's plenty secure. Perfect mounting solution for me!

Easy install, perfectly controls the 2 Ubiquiti WAPs. And handles the plethora of devices used on my office network.

First, the good. It's sturdy, well built, and powder coated. Feels pretty substantial and strong and most definitely capable of holding my UDM for hears to come. The bad, given the weight of the UDM and the weight of this bracket, I would not want to mount this using simple drywall anchors. You need to get this into a stud. Unfortunately, the placement of the screw holes does not allow any room for error; without drilling some pilot holes (which is easy to do) and without ensuring that the screws go directly into the stud, straight, with 0 degree angle to the left or right, you're only going to have two solid mounting points at best. See attached photos for reference. I've already mounted the bracket and unfortunately didn't show it centered on the stud. When I did have it centered, it was quite obvious that the wood would splinter on the left and right side and not provide a good hold. So, it's possible you might get all three screws into the stud, solid, but it's not likely. If they'd just have moved the two upper screw holes 1/4" closer together, I think you'd have a much more solid mount. I'm really hoping I don't find my UDM on the floor one of these days. I recommend getting better drywall anchors, ensuring that two of the screws are solid in a stud, and consider drilling pilot holes first so you don't split the wood.

This fits the UniFi router well. It’s also looks nice when mounted.
