Armitron Sport Unisex Easy to Read Silicone Strap Watch, 25/6443

When this watch first came, it seemed perfect. But, after a couple of weeks of 'soft wear', it has developed three faults, one of which is serious. Yes, it is neat and comfortable to wear. But after a bit of swimming (one 30 minute session plus some shorter swims) it started to show signs of water....that may have caused a second problem - the light would not go off. But worse still, without any warning (and no pulling on the strap) the watch just fell off my arm. One of the lugs broke whilst I was sitting on a chair. Do not buy!

Loved this watch, it was just what I was looking for - but it broke within 2 months.

I bought this for a friend of mine who is 89 and not a robust person. Unfortunarely the strap was so short it would only fit a child

Two weeks in Florida, soaking in ocean for hours, snorkeling, diving, anything you can imagine. Never took my watch off, and it survived all while showing precise time. It has an excellent mechanism. Its easy to read for my mid-age eyes, and it’s marine style looks pretty sharp as well. I am into water sports, like sailing, so it’s right up my alley)) About strap (I saw comments that it’s short) - it stretches, so if you can put strap on the last hole, in few weeks you will be in middle. The strap material is durable, soft, light, and most important - breathable ( perfect if you are in water). I am a busy person but took time to write this review because good quality for a decent price is a rear find.

I was happy to find a navy blue, water resistant watch in a size not too large for my petite frame (very small wrist and hands). Haven't had any problems reading, love the button to light the face at night. Have only worn in the shower, but so far no issue with water resistance or condensation. Will be tested on upcoming beach trip. Band is soft and comfortable. Great watch!

The face could be a tad bigger. However, for the price, the accuracy, the life of the battery, the clarity of the numbers, the backlight, the weightlessness are all great features. Have not heard of the Armitron brand. But research shows that the brand is known for quality and reasonable price, which is of this watch. Have had this for a year and really liking, enjoying it. Bought a digital type recently. Hope it will be just as good.
