COBI TOP Gun: Maverick F/A-18E Super Hornet, Silver

This is my first time buying a set from this brand and honestly I love it, the quality is nice and the build is very sturdy. But while I was building the plane I noticed that I was missing some pieces so I check back and I realized that I am not caught up with the instructions and I was just building the thing myself. Overall, great set but to the people who is new into building Cobi sets, PLEASE read the instruction with extra carefulness and dont be like me.

Cobi makes the best military building block sets out there. The pieces fit together great and the set looks great once completed. The price is good for the quality you are getting. The instructions are easy to follow and would highly recommend this set to anyone.

I got this for my boyfriend who’s obsessed with airplanes, and he loves it. He took it out and started to build it immediately. The instructions were easy, very comparable to regular Lego brand stuff. He’s very satisfied with it, he put it on his shelf for display. Girls, if you’re contemplating getting this as a gift, do it. 10/10

Hot mess here. Missing enough pieces cannot finish it. Waiting to hear back from manufacturer to see if they will send another bag of pieces or entire new kit to finish this thing. If not, will definitely return this thing. update, turns out pieces were there, just had to really look for them. Actually impressed with this kit now, turned out great

OK.... let's get it on Most of the building is straight forward and easy to do. Bags are well sorted and opened as needs during progression. Goes together quickly. Now lets get the ugly out of the way Here are the area that could use some rework 1. Nose cone does not say attached very well, breathe on it and off it comes. The peg they use needs to be a bit longer and a smidge thicker 2. the outer folding wing hinge needs more than 2 pegs to connect to...even the smallest bump and the are off... 3. Maverick - where to start? arms move in unison. No seat for Maverick to sit in and no mounting point as there are on regular Lego figures to attach him to the air plane 4. the center tank could have been assembled with a cross rod and it would stay together easier Only 2 missing pieces, not bad. had 12 extras including 2 large ones Model is accurate enough for enjoyment and it is faithful to the folding wing variant of the hornet. Detail levels are good overall. This is a teenager and up level of build When you are done I would super glue the weak points mentioned above.

This is fantastic. It looks pretty neat once built and it was very fun to build it. My only complaint is the tail paint job is two large stickers on transparent material and it's kinda difficult to see on the jet. also the stickers span numerous pieces so you can easily see air bubbles trapped under it. not a big deal I guess, but it looks fine otherwise.

Picked this up for my son for Christmas. He has been an avid lego builder since he was 4y/o. As a tween his interests have shifted to historical builds and the Cobi line is amazing. Terrific detail and a satisfying build complexity for more mature builders. Highly recommend.

Honestly I love cobi because they are really detailed with the design of the aircraft and honestly way cheaper than those other third party Lego military sets

War ein Geschenk für meinen Sohn. Er liebt den Flieger. Wie es jedoch auch bei anderen Steinherstellern ist, fallen immer Mal Teile ab, da mein Sohn damit doch noch spielt und ich denke es ist einfach eher zum Angucken gedacht.

Bought it for my dad at Christmas time because he loves top gun. Looks and feels like real lego, although the stand is a little flimsy. It was a fun bonding activity and now he has a sick model for his work desk. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Dopo aver visto Top Gun Maverick mio figlio è impazzito per gli aerei da combattimento e abbiamo cercato insieme qualche modellino da acquistare. Questo è il secondo della COBI che abbiamo preso dopo essere rimasti davvero imprezsionati dal precedente modello. Anche questo è stato davvero una sorpresa: i pezzi sono quasi identici a quelli della famosa marca di mattoncini, si incastrano tutti benissimo e anche questo modello di aereo una volta montato è spettacolare. Davvero ben fatto, con tantissimi dettagli e particolari. Con parti che si possono muovere e pure un personaggio. Davvero un ottimo acquisto per gli appassionati e non.
