I thought I purchased these before, but when they arrived, I noticed a difference from my original set that makes these even better than my older set: the tops of the chopsticks are square. This square design comes in handy for those of us who may mindlessly set them down on a table or countertop. They don’t roll off the table and under someone else’s shoe. It’s embarrassing to ask the person across the table if they can hand over the chopstick that they are stepping on, and then I still have to get another pair of chopsticks. With the squared design of these chopsticks, I won’t need to worry about my chopstick rolling onto the floor.The chopsticks provide us ignorant (but not for long!) Americans how to hold chopsticks. What the photos fail to explain is a simple technique: hold one chopstick firmly with your pinky, and use the chopstick held with the index finger like a pencil. The pinky stick is stable, while the index stick moves around and picks up the food.I tried these with peas, and they work great! I also tried them with the thicker end, and they actually work. But don’t try this in an authentic Chinese restaurant, if you don’t want to hear the waiter laughing in the kitchen.These are plain and simple; no design, except notches at the tips for friction. They sound hollow, but appear to be sturdy. These are stainless steel chopsticks, but are nonferrous; so don’t expect them to attract magnets. I was considering storing them on a magnetic knife holder on the wall, but that’s fine. I store them in a pretty cup.I put a set of chopsticks in an unused eyeglass protector, in case we ever decide to eat out in a Chinese restaurant.There really isn’t much to say about these chopsticks, but that’s a good thing; it means I have no complaints about them, either.If you are considering buying these, I suggest smashing the cart button and buying them.If I find a reason that these are less than satisfactory, I will be sure to return to this review and edit it to reflect my dissatisfaction; even if it is too late to return them. But for now, after using them twice, I would fight a burglar if he tried to take them from me. Ok, you’re right! They aren’t worth losing my life over, but they are a nice set to add to the eating utensils. Enjoy!

I admit that I got these with fairly low expectations - most gold flatware (especially the kind that claims to be "dishwasher safe") starts flaking or discoloring within weeks. These chopsticks, however, have held-up to lots of use and many trips through the dishwasher, and they look brand new!The grooves toward the tips are really nice for holding food and have the added bonus of not being ribs like many metal chopsticks have - while the texture of ribbing doesn't bother me, I know it bothers some eaters, so these give the best of both worlds.The only thing I'd say to consider is that metal conducts heat much more than wood does, so you have a tendency to stick your chopsticks into bowls of very hot food and leave them, they might get uncomfortably hot, but if you keep them to the side except when they're in use, I don't think that will be a problem.All-in-all, I highly recommend these beautiful, elegant, and functional chopsticks!

A fun way to eat is to use chopsticks. It works the eyes and hand coordination. I wanted to have chopsticks as a regular option besides spoons and forks. The design of the chopsticks are simplistic and elegant in appearance, best of all reusable. These chopsticks are high standard food grade stainless steel SUS 304 (also called 18/8 stainless steel). These chopsticks are great quality and work well for general use. They’re lightweight, sturdy, and the multicolor design is a nice touch. However, the smooth stainless steel surface lacks grip, making them harder to use compared to wooden ones. If grip is important, I’d recommend going for wood instead.

Picked up these stainless steel chopsticks for home use. I had some enameled chop sticks that I used for years, but it was time to replace. I am super happy with the weight, they are comfortable to use and do not hurt my fingers. I was concerned that I would have issues with it being harder to pick up food as they are very smooth, but there are little ridges at the end that give a little friction for the food. The absolute high point for me is being able to place in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.

I like that you can sanitize these. I bought them because I eat slower when I am using them.

We love this chopstick! I love that it is stainless steel! It is easy to use and easy to clean! I love the texture of it because it is super smooth! I love the appearance of it because it just looks beautiful especially when I am taking pictures of our food with it! Definitely worth the purchase! I like that I know it is stainless steeland not something with chemicals.
