We use these to mark logs to size when we put in our winter supply of wood. They work well but I think they are a bit spendy. I had saved them in my cart & by the time I actually ordered them the price had gone up considerably.

We ordered 4 different colors of markers. They work well for what we needed, but they arrived in a soft sided envelope with the box open so they all fell out.

Just wanted to add on here for cnc grinding wheels. We use these on the stone "aluminum oxide" grinding wheels. We hold it to the wheel as it spins and it colors it Blue. Then we can visually see if the profile on the wheel is complete. The coolant wont wash it off which makes it ideal for it. The blue is still there,then we have to dress the wheel more. When the blue is gone,the wheel is ready for Grinding.

We have used these style markers for 30 years to write on salvage wrecked automobiles. These new Markal Paintstiks are crumbly and too soft of material.

Better than dixon lumber crayons

Used these to “decorate” these giant wood walls put up in a lazer tag room I made for a summer camp this year. Work great in the dark. Super easy to write with. Tons of fun. Kids had a blast. (And so did I)
