I had to try this new “Full Spectrum” grow lite
I had to try this new “Full Spectrum” LED grow lite. I come from the old school of HPS and red and Blue LEDs for growing. I wanted to test if this new technology does really make a difference or not vs the old systems. For that I will have to report in 3 months from now, but a few things about this product:First, the shipping box seemed damaged when I received it, but the vendor used double boxing, so no biggie, the second inner box was perfect. The grow lite is well protected with foam compartments inside the box. This unit is MASSIVE!. It folds in half for easy storage and shipping but this is massive. It will cover at least a 7’ by 7’ grow if not more.I had to attach the power supply driver to the back of the unit. I was surprised and delighted to see that the power supply had no fans, as all the lights I have had before had massive fans running all the time which created a lot of noise and air movement. In the old style, if you lose a fan you lose the lights, so one less thing to worry about. The power supply driver also includes a dimming knob so you can dim the lights down if needed. This is very useful when you are working inside your grow and don’t want to be blinded by a jazillion lumen lamp.Another thing that I like about this lamp is that the LED clusters are separated maybe in 6 inch rows, which distributes light a lot better to the sides of the plants than an HPS lamp or the old LED grow lites that had all the LEDs in one cluster in the middle. The unit also includes sturdy rope to install the lights together with a pulley so I can easily raise or lower the lights as the plants get bigger. The light itself has many LEDs (1277 I think I counted) and also includes some “deep red” LEDs which are beneficial in the flowering stage of plantsInstead of using glass to cover the LEDs they have waterproofed them by potting the printed circuit board with what it seems waterproofing epoxy. I have never seen this before but seems to do the job.Another feature if you want to call it that, is that when you connect the power supply, it has 2 outputs to the lamp, so you can decide if you want to light up the whole lamp or just half, and that is great when you also want to use the lamps to manage your cloning section for example.Unit also includes 2 RJ45 ports that I suspect are to dim many units through just one dimmer knob instead of having to go to each light and dim it if you have a big operation going on.Conclusion:Seems to be a very good quality LED Grow Lamp, with ETL Listing and 3 year warranty (According to manufacturer), but Im interested to see how good it is at increasing the flowering yield and there where the money is at. Hopefully I will report in a few months.Pros:- Covers a wide grow area- Dimmable- Foldable- Includes all hanging hardware- Waterproof- Meanwell Divers Inside- Fanless Power Supply (No noise)- 3 Year Warranty (according to question I asked)- RJ45 for dimming many units at onceCons:- Outer boxed received damaged.- Dimming in not 100% to 0% but more like 100% to 30%.- Does not include remote control for dimming just manual knob.UPDATE:After almost 4 months with this light, the only thing I can say is "WOW". I don't know if its my imagination or what but I do feel that the fruiting was more consistent, with bigger buds and more yield per plant. Also as it produces littloe heat you don't have to be managing the heat as much with extractors, carbon filters and so on. BUY IT! You wont regret it. Don't come crying when you get more flower than you can use. Lol

Oh yeah! Oh hell yeah!
UPDATE: Wish I had the room for a second one. Be sure to run this no higher than 50% in a 3x3 tent or you will burn your leaf tips. Light=Heat because light is heat. The fixture itself runs cool. This is good advice, take it or leave it fellow plant killers. Overwatering and excessive nutrients are the problem guys and gals. It is never the light or the tent, it is the grower. As one person noted, it pulls 480 watts wide open so it might blow a fuse if you live in a house with fuses and minimal electrical current. However, If your house was built with in the last fifty years and you have a circuit breaker that isn't already overloaded this thing is a monster. It fits a 3x3 tent with a good half inch to spare on each side and every inch of floor space is very good for flower. It goes from clicked completely off to 100% with incremental markings starting at 10%. It is a very impressive and well built piece of equiptment and It claims to last 150, 000 hours with little degradation. Every other LED I have ever purchased hopes to last 50,000 hours with a major drop off in efficiency after time. If you can afford it and you want a great light you ould be a fool to pass it up. And the driver is huge while the heat generated is minmal. You can run it wide open and put your hand on the top of the driver with no discomfort at all. Cool beans.

Great light. Well worth the price.
Great light. Does what it says it does. I have it in a 4x4 tent supplemented with two MarsHydro 1000s and its bright as all hell in there. Had to get glasses so I can do maintenance inside. For those who say it keeps blowing their fuses as soon as you plug it in. Replace the break in your main circuit breaker. Mine did the same thing and I discovered the breakers do weaken over time...especially if it's been flipped quite a bit beforehand. I replaced the breaker and all was well.

great light for 1.5 years
I really enjoyed the light and the output was great. A year and a half later one bank started to blink on and off every 10 seconds, I am guessing the ballest is cooked on one side, when it does come on, it is bright for about 10 seconds, the off for about 10 seconds.

Outrunning my HLGs thus far. Probably one of the better lights on amazon
The media could not be loaded. I decided to take a chance and go with an up and coming manufacturer. I am more than impressed, I order one to test and hung it In a room with 2 HLG 550 v2 rspec & normal. Not only is the light spread way better than my quantum boards but they get extremely bright and the lady’s are all favoring this new light, I was so impressed with my sample I decided to place a bulk order. I’ll keep everyone updated but as far as I can see these lights are up to par with the 800$-900$ light bars on the market at the moment. I’m not a new guy either so don’t sleep on this review Looking forward to doing future business with HYPHOTONFLUX

Very bright. µmol's to spare. A TRUE BEAST!
The brightness of this light is in excess of what I need in my 1200x1200 for flowers according to the PPFD meter (not a cheap LUX meter). It's the real deal! I bought the extra external cables, which I recomend. It's a little warm, as you'd expect, but not super hot and like I say....THE BRIGHTNESS :)

Good till it wasn’t
Light worked great for 6 months, I woke up with no light on and plants slowly dying due to light deprivation. I contacted the merchant directly and they tried to solve my issue with no avail. If the light was still functioning I would rate 5 stars and recommend the light to my fellow growers.
