Let's really think.
I'm going to give this 5 stars just to counter the judgemental attitude of some of these reviews.I went into this book just the same as the rest of the viewers of Making a Murderer, I really wanted to discount all points out forward and believe the show but I kept an open mind and started. Now what you really have to ask yourself is 'who should I really believe?' should you believe a multi million dollar TV Broadcaster who wanted to make a successful 10 part series to make more money and win awards on the back of the Avery family, the Halbach family and the state? Or do you want to believe a lawyer who (past wrongdoings aside, this is mentioned in the book) was in the most basic sense just doing his job?Common sense has to come in somewhere and although I still remain neutral and would personally vote innocent in this particular case, there are a lot of very compelling points out forward in this book. Once you really think about it you have to wonder exactly how far does this conspiracy go?I think I've said enough about the case so I'll talk about the book itself. It gives a new point of view to people who have only just heard about the Avery/Halbach case and is broken down into simple segments which are easy to digest and not to "forensic science packed" so even the most layman (myself) can understand. I seriously urge you to go into this with an open mind but even if you don't you can't ignore the points put forward"Well Kratz is obviously lying in this book!" I hear you cry. Well why would this (once successful) lawyer and state Da put these lies into words, put his name on it and distribute it globally?Give it a read, open your mind and eyes.

Hmm still 50/50
Stars are because I dont know if this book is factually correct or not, I would only be speculating to say it's fault having no knowledge other than manipulated media.I've watched season 1 & 2 of Making a Murderer on Netflix, followed Kratz & Zellner on Twitter (Kratz has dissapeared now) read Wrecking Crew and felt Steven was totally innocent. I do however now feel that all media can be manipulated, if what Netflix showed was the ONLY version of events, it doesn't make sense why multiple law offices / courts / processes keep rejecting the appeals, there has to be more to it. Given the fact I have read arguments from both sides, I struggle to believe what is truth. But this book does answer some outstanding questions and also makes more sense as to why appeals are not entertained and consistently get rejected, also why Steven Avery is still in prison. I honestly don't know what to think, but I know there is more than what Netflix shows you.IF what I have read in this book is correct..... I feel tremendously sorry for Ken and all the team surrounding this case for the treatment they have received following on from them simply doing their job.

Innocent after watching a tv program, now not so sure.
I watched the tv show on netflix and was outraged at the fact this man and a young boy was convicted after a clear set up by law inforcement. However when i watched the tv program there was sooo much missing and it all seemed to good to be true and very biast towards the Averys. However, after reading this book is has cleared up some unanswered questions as to many parts that i thought where abit too god to be true in the program. Not all though!I understand that Kratz could be lying just to clear his name and to make money from a book, buy why would he do that! The points he has raised seems pretty legit! I watch many documentries on killers etc so i like to think im a little clued up and done jury duty myself which was a tricky case. But the points mentioned in this book make me realise that yes maybe Avery did murder Teresa and ropped Brendon into it.But there is still many mysterys in this case that are still unanswered thats for sure! However the one question i do ask myself is that if he did 100% murder Teresa then could it have been due to the fact that he spent 18 years around sex offenders ans whoever else. So in theory they may have made a murderer by falsely in-prisoning him for 18 years

After reading this I have changed my mind that Steve is innocent. Although I am not 100 persent sure he is guilty it has aloud me to see things from another perspective and balance information given to me by other sources. Very interesting.

A very interesting read
I'm not sure If the information is correct and true but it doesn't make Steven Avery look very good .I read this inside 45 minutes .I enjoyed it .

Ken Kratz nails Avery with the facts.
This book is the truth unlike that docu lie that fooled everyone.

Where is the evidence for us to believe your book ?
As a book it's very easy to read and understand , after watching MAM I was 100% sure of Steven averys innocence ! After reading this book I would still find him not guilty . Ken Kratz does just not come across trustworthy , I find him looking for sympathy and trying to make himself to be hard done by !There are many times in this book where we are told MAM leaves out this and that and this is what actually happened and was said . Well you can say what you like but until you show us the evidence you say happened why should we believe you over what we have seen ? Make your own documentary showing the proof of what you say actually happened I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it .I'm sure this case will run for a few years yet !

Kreepy book.
As fictional works go, this book is nowhere nearly as good as Harry Potter. As toilet paper I found it rough and slightly abrasive to touch (not recommended). The only saving grace is that the sweaty, sicko lardy face of the sexual predator author isn’t on the cover. Don’t buy this book and indulge dirtbag Ken Kratz’ fantasy and ego with your money or attention... he really does make my skin crawl, what a piece of ****.
