These 3mm gel ear pads made a huge difference for my Peltor Comtac headset. They’re incredibly comfortable, even during long wear under a helmet. The gel conforms to your head and eliminates pressure points that the standard pads just couldn’t handle.Seal quality is excellent—no sound leakage, and my comms remain crystal clear. Found these to replace the ear cups on my Tactical 100 that were flaking apart. I can confirm that they do fit and appreciate the other reviewers that stated that they do fit. I would have gave up if I didn't see those reviews. They are much better than the stock cups.Install Steps for Peltor Tactical 100:- Pop off your old cups like the instructions say.- I found it easier to pop the muff off the arms. This was done by turning each muff 90 degrees and carefully squeezing each connect point on the hinge.- Line up the new ear cup either the top or bottom first, then hold that one side in place by interlacing your fingers clamping the muff and cup tight and then squeeze in a clamshell motion towards the other end till it snaps in place.It takes a bit of patience and leverage to squeeze it into place on the 100s. Before I figured this motion out, I kept getting fingers pinched, or other sides kept popping out. I even tried squeezing with pliers.Once I got them on, they are a nice upgrade from the stock cups. Feels sturdier and adds a premium heft to my 100s. Much more comfortable and seals out noise a lot better.

I ordered both the cheaper 3M gel replacement ear cups and the HY80 Pelator specific gel ear cups to compare.I am replacing the stock foam ear cups that came with my Pelator Comtac V.As you can see in the photos the cheaper 3M one on the right, stock in the center and the more expensive HY80 on the right.The cheap one is taller than both the stock and the HY80 and the “skin” feels thicker than the HY80. The HY80 is much squishier than the cheaper 3M which holds its shape much better.The HY80 has a small hole on the bottom to allow for venting and getting better squish, as the cheaper 3M does not have a vent hole.Both of them fit the Pelator Comtac V just fine with no issues.In my opinion the cheaper 3M version is actually better. It’ll hold its shape better when in storage but still soft enough to be comfortable over stock. Since it holds its shape better it stays “thicker” than the HY80 when up against your head. This should help with comfort as your ears won’t touch the inside of the Comtacs at all! This helps with comfort and forgetting that you even have them on!Over all I’m quite happy with both but I’ll be keeping the cheaper one and returning the more expensive HY80.

I have two sets of BT Work Tunes headphones. Ear pads on one pair ripped. These replacements are better than the original. Better fit and more comfortable. I am considering replacing the muffs on the other pair even though the are not damaged. Super easy to install.

These are legit 3M gel cups from China, way cheaper yet way more durable than older Swedish or US made OEM HY80! I noticed all the other Chinese made gel cups I've ordered for multiple headsets are made of the same stiffer materials that won't flatten over time like OEM, yet still provide that amazing pillow like comfort. I can store my ear pro with the cups pressed together without worrying about them eventually losing their shape and effectiveness. Also, I haven't had any of them rip exposing the inner gel like I had OEM and Noisefighters before (see pics) so there is no doubt these are more durable.I've already had these particular 3Ms on my Peltor 500s for a few months, used in 115 F heat to now 50 F cool and they still look the same as day one!I am giving 4 out of 5 stars though because these won't fit my Peltor Tactical Sports (won't snap in). Fortunately I have multiple 3M Peltor headsets to try them on. They will fit in my Comtac III Hearing Defender, Single Comm, Dual Comm (wont sit flush on one side but still secure), Tactical 300 and 500s though on all of them they won't snap in as tight as the other gel cups I have. They are still secure when snapped in and will do the job. I may have gotten a pair with out of spec plastic backings but still for under $20, totally worth it! (EDIT 11/30 - Actually that particular set of Comtac III Dual comms does the same thing to every other gel cup set I've tried, so it is that particular headset that is out of spec. This particular set may just be slightly undersized which may explain why it doesn't snap in as tight)There is no reason for the other gel cups to cost $50+, especially when they don't last as long!

Factory replacement gel pads for 3M headphones. They look great. Improve the seal around the ears. Reduce the noise coming in so you don't have to have it as loud. Appears to be of better quality than the original foam ones. Works as expected.
