These 3mm gel ear pads made a huge difference for my Peltor Comtac headset. They’re incredibly comfortable, even during long wear under a helmet. The gel conforms to your head and eliminates pressure points that the standard pads just couldn’t handle.Seal quality is excellent—no sound leakage, and my comms remain crystal clear. I have two sets of BT Work Tunes headphones. Ear pads on one pair ripped. These replacements are better than the original. Better fit and more comfortable. I am considering replacing the muffs on the other pair even though the are not damaged. Super easy to install.

I had a set of 3M Work Tunes headphones for several years and the earpieces were starting to fall apart and the cracked leather was irritating my ears I was worried I was going to have to throw them away even though they still work fine but were uncomfortably to wear. I took a chance and searched amazon and found these replacement muffs. I can say that shipping was great received them in 2 days and the instructions on how to change them out were simple to follow. I had the old ones off and the new ones installed in about 10 minutes. So far they are actually more comfortable than the original ones that came on the headphones.

Replaced the worn ear cuffs in my peltor sport hearing protection. These are very shiny and somewhat sticky but do fit with some work. Need to try them out but at first glance it seems like these may be hotter than the factory muffs

While these appear to be similar to the HY80 / HY80A used on the ComTac, they are not the same and not really interchangeable. You can pop them onto the ComTac, but they easily pop off. The reason is that the inside lip of the ComTac earpieces are designed for the lip from the foam cups or the HY80/HY80A which are all different from the cups used on the civilian Sport/Tactical line of Peltors. Basically if you use these cups on a ComTac, they pop off if you hit them just right. They are super easy to remove.If you use HY80/HY80A on a ComTac, they are more difficult to remove/install and for good reason. You don't want these popping off in the middle of something. The HY80A's main difference from HY80 is the adhesive used is designed to handle higher temperatures (like sitting inside an armored combat vehicle in 120F ambient heat in the desert).I popped off my old foam pads from my TAC500 and installed these without any drama. Grip them from inside the ear cups (at the ABS plastic frame) and tug them out. The new ones are super soft and seem to fit my ears better. My TAC500 foam cups would always squeeze my ears since they were so small. These new Gel cups cover my ears comfortably. I didn't notice a huge difference in sound reduction but it felt as if they weren't as tightly sealing as the foam but it could be my imagination.

these are awesome as replacements. they deafen outside noise very well and provide a good seal to conform to my head. good value for the quality of the product.
