Lovely book…loved the simple illustrations that were in the book. What a wonderful writer

I enjoyed this book. The humor is subtle and the story is uncomplicated. Jerome has a unique sense of humor and a pleasant way with words. I laughed out loud several times and enjoyed imagining their adventure.

First read parts of it in high school. Still funny after all these years.

Great book if you like dry British humour

The humor appealed to me, but I know it won’t to the majority. After stripping away that humor that only a minority will enjoy anyway, there is very little left to enjoy here. The tale is unremarkable, the characters are believable, the ending is just that; the end.
