Used this spotlight in the deep mountains to see some wildlife. It had a good range and lasted over 3 hours of continuous on/off use. It is water proof as it was left outside accidentally in a downpour of rain. Still worked fine the next day. I like the nylon cord it came with as I can hang it up or use over arm when walking.

This is our second Cyclops. The first one has lasted about 10 years and we are still using it. This is a slightly different model but we are hoping for similar results. This model is 800 lumens. It's amazing how far and how brightly this light shines. It's very light weight to have so much power. It's comfortable to hold and use. We have not tested the water resistance so I can't rate that. We've only had this one for about 2 weeks and have not had to charge it since it first arrived but it's not something we use everyday. I can't imagine that there is a better light on the market. If you need a bright, handy light that holds a charge, get a Cyclops. It's a really good.

I have never taken the time to review an item (good or bad). This purchase drove me to do it. I am so ticked off as I bought this light a week or two ago, charged it up, and it worked great. Second use of the light worked great. Took it hunting tonight and when I got ready to leave in the dark, nothing. No light, no nothing. I have since brought it home tonight and placed it on the charger. The red lights on the back come on and it is stuck there. Terrible product that does not work. I would return it and ask for a refund but I threw the packaging away. Do not purchase unless you like being stuck in the dark!

Would love to give this a 5 star but because the charging port can only be accessed by taking off the back lens it gets a 4. But so far battery is great! I like the different brightness levels. We had the 500 for about 10 years and would still be working if I hadn't dropped it one to many times!

This was my 2nd Cyclops and I really like the look and design of these lights, however this is the 2nd time my Cyclops spot lights stopped working after only about 2 years. Spot lights should last much longer than this. The lights were working fine and then just top recharging. I really wish I could write a better review but I'm very disappointed in the quality of the Cyclops lights I've had. When my first Cyclops stopped recharging I liked it so much I tried again with another Cyclops spot light thinking maybe it was a fluke but now 2 in a row just stop recharging. I'm going to need to try another brand at this point.

These spotlights are light weight and very bright!
