Very interesting a good read.

The Bhagavad Gita interpretation by Sivananda Swami is an excellent book for a beginner. Clarity of the language is admirable. The only weakness I find is the lack of diacritics to indicate appropriate sounds and spellings in the English transliteration of Sanskrit words. Most other similar books written by Swamis and academics do not have this limitation. However, this book will be very useful to the beginners.A K Maitra

This is difficult to read, but that is helped with the changing typefaces. The comentary is wonderful.

Although the description says language: English most passages are 33-50% Sanskrit, if you cannot read Sanskrit this book is essentially unreadable to you, i suggest you try and find an alternative translation.

This book arrived two weeks ahead of schedule. Very pleased about that and the book is exactly as described. I am using it to prepare for Yoga Teacher Training. It is recommended reading for the course and I’m very glad that it is. It helps a great deal with understanding the ancient teachings of the Indian philosophy and culture of Yoga and Vedanta.

Thanks to Swammi Sivananda's comments this book becomes so easy to understand that you can really enjoy entirely. It's a must in your library and it's a book for your entire life, every time you read it you'll find new things to learn. It's the perfect guide to help you even in the worst moments, one can take refuge in Bhagavad Gita and being taken cared of.

The book provides each and every Shloka printed in Devnagari followed by word to word translation in English and then the full meaning of the Shloka with commentary in simple and easy to understand English.The indexes to Shlokas and subjects given at the end are very useful to locate the Shlokas easily, so that one can refer back to them quickly on selective basis.Overall the best one so far that I have come across on The Bhagvad Gita.Must Buy.

One of my favorite translations on Bhagavad Gita. Sri Sivanandajis commentary is very simple, lucid, concise, and stays true to the intent of the discussion between Krishna and Arjuna. The book size is also very nice for taking on the go and the book pages are nice and thick. I would recommend all sincere students of Yoga, Vedanta, and Hindu Dharma to have Sri Sivanandajis Bhagavad Gita on deck.
