I recently purchased a whiz-bang adjustable bed -- all the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, it sits rather high off the ground and is topped with a memory foam mattress. I can manage to sit on the edge of the bed by standing tip-toe, but then the memory foam sinks making it nearly impossible to move easily to the middle of the bed.Went looking for some kind of step that would allow me to get closer to the middle of the bed before sitting. I found this little step and it looked promising. One of the variations matched my other bedroom furniture and at just over 6” tall, it was the height I needed.Purchased it and managed to get it put together. I’m an older female and usually not terribly “hardware-oriented, ” but this was not difficult at all to assemble.The best news: IT WORKS! I can launch myself backward from the step and land almost dead center in the bed.The step itself is quite sturdy -- i’m a hefty gal and with the weight rating of 400 lbs, the step feels rock solid.Very nice in all respects.

I purchased this for my 72 year-old mom to get in and out of bed with greater ease. She loves it and was able to assemble it easily. It is sturdy and nice-looking, unlike some cheaper step-stools. She says that it has definitely helped her joints not hurt from climbing in and out of bed.

This stool is perfect for what I needed. I recently had knee replacement surgery. My bed sits on the higher side, so I needed something to help me get in and out of bed easier. This little stool did the trick.It was SUPER easy to put together, plus it's just the right height and it's very sturdy.Another very welcome added benefit I found from it is I can do a really important physical therapy exercise with it. One very crucial component after having knee replacement surgery is regaining the range of bend in the knee, which takes daily practice. With this stool, I can sit on the side of my bed with my surgery side foot resting flat on the stool and just push my hips forward as I want. It gives my surgery knee a nice, gradual bend that I can hold for however long I want, then relax. It helps me greatly with my total range of motion for my knee related to how far I can bend my knee back. With the help of this stool, I'm at 120 degrees of bend, five weeks post-surgery, which I'm thrilled about.I love it. VERY happy with this purchase.

I had read many reviews on this product prior to ordering it advising that it arrived with missing parts and missing holes in the metal framework preventing final assembly, but it looked exactly what my spouse with a mobility issue required to step into her stair lift. It arrived early which are 5 stars for Amazon. All parts were included and it was easy to assemble which are 5 stars for the vendor. It was missing one hole drilled in the metal framework which is a significant failure for the vendor's quality assurance check and Amazon's as well not paying attention to customer reports. I have a friend with a drill press so we were able to drill the hole in the metal and assemble it. It is very steady and works outstanding as required. I'm considering purchasing a second one.

Just received it and the pieces look sturdy. Description does say it needs assembly; screws and an Allen wrench are provided; picture instruction sheet is provided but NO written instructions are provided; there are NO screw holes in the wood portion and I doubt may people could screw the screws into the wood with only the Allen wrench, so be aware that you will need a drill to make the holes in the wood in which to insert the screws that attach the legs to the wood. That key detail would be very helpful to include in the description online.

I have some physical problems, and needed a sturdy step to use in the bedroom and kitchen.I was impressed.It is very sturdy, has a wide step, and looks nice.It was easy to assemble. I used an electric drill/screwdriver to attach the top.I would buy this again.
