Works for vacuum
In my application I have this connected to a vacuum chamber & the line & chamber pressure go down to 300 militorr. The line does collapse some during vacuum but that’s okay with how i use it since i’m not trying to transfer anything when the vacuum is going.

10mm NOT 3/8" thin and collapses under vacuum.
Bought this because it's claimed to be "high pressure", though I actually needed it for use in building a vacuum chamber.... This tubing is slightly larger than 10mm inside diameter tube, not 3/8". It's very loose, sliding on / pulling off of 3/8 barbed fittings with only very light resistance. Average ID measured with calipers is 0.398" or 10.11mm. Average actual wall thickness of 0.081" or 2.0574mm. Average OD is 0.56". For averages, I measured each parameter several times in different locations on the tubing. By comparison; tubing I just picked up locally measures > slightly under 3/8" ID (.368" actual) > slightly under 5/8 OD" (.622" actual) > slightly over 1/8" wall thickness (.127" actual) or 3.226mm - more than 50% thicker. The locally sourced tubing also gives an actual working pressure rating of 225 PSI unlike this stuff that just claims to be "high pressure" Additionally, you can also see in the attached photo, the reinforcement fibers in this hose is much thinner than in the hose I just picked up today. In the photo, the bluish tinted hose on the top is this hose from Amazon, the other is what I picked up locally. I don't know how much pressure this hose can take, but it won't be anywhere near 225PSI. Vacuum performance is awful, with partial collapse starting at just -15inHg and near total collapse at just -26inHg. But considering the vacuum gauge will go well past -30inHg by placing a rubber stopper in the chamber, the real numbers might be much worse....
