Makes a good seat platform
I needed a seat platform for the mid section of my boat without trying to make any changes to the deck floor. A post hole for a seat was not the solution. This, with a swivel base and boat seat attached works fine for sitting in place while drifting. Manufacturer does not approve sitting on it while the boat is in motion, and I would agree with that based on the small area the legs make contact with. Wider foot pads would help this issue. The frame is plenty sturdy, and mounting holes line right up with a swivel base or fixed seat mounting.

I love it, it is portable, and really solid.. i weight 280 pounds... this thing is excellent. Expect to pay over 150 bucks CAD for it in a store. This is a steal and shipped right away. perfect height too.
