Works great for stuck oil filters, the clearance is excellent so the tool easily fits in tight areas. It's my go to tool to pull filters with poor access now.

Super useful for getting off oil filters that were installed with the power of the Holy Trinity. Very simple to use and it seems pretty durable.

Works great for GM/Chevy motors with the filter tucked tight to the oil pan. Very easy to loosen a tight filter with little side clearance, if you can get two hands to work on it, Otherwise, a suitable rubber band around the arms will let you start it without trouble. Good buy!

I've actually owned a Matco branded version of this tool for quite awhile, which at the time I bought it (likely not the case these days), was just a rebranded version of this GearWrench tool. Probably one of the best tool purchases I've ever made since this tool has never failed to take off any oil filter I've used it on (from narrow Honda filters, up to large diameter truck filters) and I still use the exact same one to this day (7-8 years of professional use). Ended up ordering one here on Amazon for somebody else to replace a cheap one they had that didn't work on Honda oil filters and a couple of my coworkers have ordered these as well as this version isn't expensive, is well built and works on the widest variety of spin on oil filters. Just keep in mind this tool only removes the old oil filter, you still need to spin the new one on yourself. But for anyone who changes oil frequently, you'll really appreciate having this tool around, especially when you have a really stubborn oil filter.
