Bought this item on a whim, wanted something that would improve the aesthetics of my kitchen but also serve a practical function. The thermometer is an innovation, I can have my coffee at the optimum temperature to get the best flavour brew. The handle was comfortable and insulated against the heat (make sure the hob ring isn't the big one, use a small ring so the fire does come up the side.) Once you master how to pour that liquid through the slender spout, you will enjoy using this great luxury product that doesn't cost the earth. Very happy with it.

We needed a kettle that could accurately give us different temperature - first of all because I hate burnt coffee and secondly my wife drinks a lot of herbal teas and not all of those need boiling water. I searched for a while to find pour over kettle like this but couldn’t find anything as attractive on the market. I was sceptical about its accuracy when I first used it....but I was so wrong. The temperature gauge is outstandingly precise. The design is sleek and attractive. And the box is neatly packed with some nice extra goodies - a great little extra present when you get the kettle. Would 100% recommend. Excellent for both coffee pour over and tea.

It looks great and it is convenient to handle. The thermometer is very useful for pour over coffee. The silicone sleeve is a great addition too. Overall great, but ...1) When the water starts boiling it condensates inside at the bottom of the lid (nothing new so far). However, the lid is just a flat piece of metal without a lip, so when you start pouring the condensed water slips and drips on the countertop or whatever is below the kettle.2) The openings on the lid for the vapor is too close to the thermometer, so when the temp reaches 95 the whole thermometer also condenses and is difficult to read.None of the above is a biggie, bit still not perfect for 5 star. Still, would recommend it.

Great product ~ I already have the smaller gooseneck kettle which is nearly always on our Rayburn. The smaller kettle is brilliant and saves me a fortune rather than having to boil our electric kettle for just the two of us, and easily manages 3 cupsHowever, we sometimes have more than one guest over so it's going to be handy to have the extra capacity of this kettle when neededIt's not as pretty as the smaller kettle but it will be more practical at timesObviously, it take a little longer to boil than the smaller one but it comes to the boil quite quickly

The thermometer feature is an amazing upgrade to a standard kettle. Nice, sleek design that compliments the kitchen and adds precision to coffee/tea making. Steady flow. Totally recommended!

Started leaking at the base after 5 months of use. Used regularly on our induction hob to boil water. Also leaks through the lid when pouring water. Would not recommend.
