It picks fluid up right away
The barrel is a little bit long for some applications. Other than that it's a good wash down gun.

Used for spraying degreaser
I wasn't sure what to expect when I hooked this up to my 100 PSI compressor. It handled the pressure great, but why wouldn't it. The nozzle can be tightened to adjust the spray, a small amount. The trigger is comfortable and the hose to the liquid is sufficient. Now when you think of cleaning with it. It couldn't spray the bugs off my bumper but when used with a degreaser it did clean up my old engine block decently. This will by no means replace a pressure washer. Plan to use this for basic cleaning. Like soap and water, with a good brush. Then you won't be disappointed.I won't use mine too much and it's small and easy to store, great product!

GREATEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!
I have been a mechanic for 56 years. I have use very conceivable syphon pressure gun known to mankind! Some decent, some good, but none great - and all inexpensive. This particular model I decided to "go the distance" and pay the high price just to see how well it performs. Folks, I was impressed!!! This unit works flawlessly. It is made with quality materials (as opposed to the cheaper ones I have used over the years). You can adjust the spray tip. The syphon hose does not fall out of the liquid container (because of the weighted end). It works so well I had to write this review. Cannot go wrong with this purchase, although I agree is is somewhat pricey.

Works well
Before I purchased this, I hesitated because many of the reviews said that it didn't spray hard enough. I think their problem may have been the compressor pressure and capacity. I have a very hefty compressor that let me use 120 psi and keep it going. I used this to clean the thick grime of grease from my old sports that had never been cleaned. It worked as well as a pressure washer. The only thing you have to maintain is a heavy buck to toe around with you as the hose for siphoning the liquid is not extremely long. Also, find a way to keep the siphon rod at the bottom of the bucket. Finally, If you are up above the bucket level, expect the fluid in the mechanism and tubbing to drop down into the bucket. That only means the flow doesn't restart immediately when you release the spray grip.

Exceptionally high quality construction and design
Updated - I just bought another one as a gift for the mechanic who helped me work on my airplane. He was really impressed with the quality and the performance of it .****************************************I was worried that real spray guns had disappeared in the face of political correctness but this is beautifully made, very effective and feels like it will last a lifetime . Many uses for those with a supply of compressed air. Not to be confused with the weak substitutes .I use it to clean the rims and engine on the car, clean junk off the patio , spray plants to remove dirt, clean bike and a host of other projects.Nozzle is adjustable Machining of the parts is awesome . A thing of beauty. Great for spraying most anything from solvent to soapy water

Waste of money
I purchased this siphon gun with reasonably high expectations. I do a lot of de-greasing jobs at work, and I was hoping this product would be a helpful tool for me. Unfortunately, it's nothing more than a glorified blow gun. It completely fails at the one thing it's designed to do...create a siphon. I've tried various nozzle adjustments in the hopes of getting this thing to work properly, but it just won't siphon any liquid whatsoever. I have another siphon gun that's half the price of this thing, and it works ten times better. I would absolutely not recommend this product whatsoever. Simply put, it doesn't work.

Awesome Tool
I had purchased this siphon sprayer to aid in cleaning the engine block and other major engine components during a recent rebuild I completed. I had initially bought a cheap Harbor Freight version of this (approximately $11) and it did not work well. I was a little skeptical that this would provide similar results and I was proven wrong. This thing worked great, never leaked, and was a huge help in blasting solvent through oil passages in the block and crank, as well as cleaning water jackets on the block and head. Completely happy with the purchase.

It works, pretty much.
For me, I find that if the bucket is not at the same level as the sprayer, it does not really work well. If you have a helper holding the bucket, it might be great. Other wise, It does not pick up the soap and water worth a d.....n . This would work better if I cloud connect a water hose with pressure as well as the air line. I may try a pex adapter on the plastic hose. Of course then it needs a third connection for the soap solution. .
