Works well in NC
Easy to use. It works, at least in NC where I live - it doesn't get much below freezing here. Enough for several applications.

Good Pump Guard But There's A Trick To Using It
Kärcher pump guard is a must to protect your power washer. It protects the pump from freezing and also lubes the seals. As another user mentioned several posts back do not take out the red cap that seals the bottle. Instead just make a small hole in the center of it either with a drill bit or make an x with a knife. This way when you go to screw it onto the inlet it doesn't pour out everywhere. Once attached just squeeze the bottle while gently pulling the starter cord (it's easier if you have a second person helping) until you see it coming out the outlet side. I gave it another 3-4 pulls after just to make sure enough mixed with any remaining water inside the pump. Stay clear of the outlet as it can shoot out pretty far. Doing it this way you'll easily get 10-12 uses out of a bottle with minimal waste.

Good Price Good stuff
This stuff works good for me. I am a fanatic with my pressure washers. I like to remove the pump at the end of the season and bring it indoors then add some Pump Guard. I use it for primely lubricating seals .., So far so good.

Kärcher Pump Guard: The Must-Have Shield for Your Pressure Washer!
The Kärcher Pump Guard is a game-changer for anyone looking to protect and maintain their electric or gas-powered pressure washer, especially if you store it in cooler environments. Pros: Anti-Freeze Protection: Living in a region with cold winters, this product has been essential in ensuring my pressure washer doesn’t freeze up and get damaged during off-season storage. Easy Application: It's very simple to use — just attach it to the pump and dispense. No need for complicated draining or additional steps. Lubrication: Not only does it protect against freezing, but it also lubricates the internal components, keeping everything running smoothly. Versatile: It works on both electric and gas pressure washers, so it’s a one-stop solution no matter what model you have. Prevents Rust and Corrosion: In addition to anti-freeze protection, it also helps prevent rust and corrosion, extending the life of your equipment. Cons: Single-Use: It’s marketed as a single-use product, though you may get more applications depending on how much you dispense. However, the value it adds makes it worth the price for long-term care. Final Thoughts: The Kärcher Pump Guard is a must-have for any pressure washer owner. It’s easy to use, protects against freezing, rust, and wear, and ensures your equipment lasts longer. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to maintain their pressure washer’s performance year-round.

Unsure if the solution stays in the pump or not
The instructions on the Karcher bottle are not clear nor contain enough details how to put the solution in. After looking up several postings on YouTube, I got an idea how to put the solution into the pump of my Karcher pressure washer. I connected the bottle to the garden hose inlet end of the pump. I stopped pulling the coil when I saw the green stuff coming out from the outlet (the end where the pressure wand hose connects to). After unscrewing the bottle, some green stuff drips out from both openings (the garden hose inlet and the outlet when pressurized water comes out). When I wheel the washer into the storage shed, going over the door threshold, a whole lot more green stuff flowed out. I wonder how much of the green solution is still in the pump unit. Judging from how much was used from the bottle, it couldn't be that much that went in to start with. And now basically most if not all has dripped and flowed out. The $200 question is (estimate price of a replacement pump), is the pressure washer pump still protected? I wish the instructions would mention whether the flow out is normal or not.

Seems to work good,
Seems to work good and I like the amount you get in the bottle. You definitely need something like this if you don't like buying pressure washer often.

Protected jetwash over winter Had previous issues of cylinder freezing and cracking which left jetwash useless in the spring Did not fit perfectly onto jetwash but had some hose connectors which sorted it out
