Thank goodness mine is working but you have to sync manually by holding the button down(10 secs.) on the cameras until it flashes amber to add them. Had to turn off night vision for better images using the built-in spotlight. It can be a hit or miss if you buy refurbished or maybe just incorrect configuration. Sometimes app will not find the hub/camera if you have VPN on your mobile device. It has to be turned off.Update: Bought an endurance 256GB Micro SD card, you can now view the videos from the app if you are at home. Set to save on the card and got rid of my subscription. You will not get the fancier options like activity zones and intelligent recognition but still works fine. It will probably hold thousands of hours of recording before it gets full then will replace the oldest. Downside is you can only access the recordings on the SD card if you are on the same wireless network but the cloud recording still works and is good for seven days for free. Overall a very good investment.

Setup was nice cameras where super clear but refurb. Unit has bad battery and instead of swapping the battery they returned the whole unit... Just but new to begin with..

They have great quality videos when they work! Most of the time they need reset or restart …terrible experience overall.not reliable!

I use it to check out my front and back yard.I don’t know about this 4K bs, but alright.It needs to be wired to record 24/7 and it is a $50 subscription.It’s audio pick up is amazing.It’s motion detection is on par, but it’s delayed 3-6 seconds behind my ring.It’s night vision is good.The battery life is one day if you are recording all the time, and longer the less it is recording. Makes sense.

Setup was very easy. Love that I can view the cameras on my iPhone and my desktop (although not simultaneously for some reason). The range from the base to the camera is not as good as I would hope but to be fair I have many stone walls throughout my home. I ended up using 2 base units which works seamlessly. Image is clear. Motion detect is awesome. I used 4 cameras (2 on each base) to cover the inside of my home in critical areas. Very happy.

I am always skeptical of security cameras because there are so many options out there. The Arlo ultra though, was worth the chance I took on it. I have one in the front and one in the back of my inside unit townhome. The viewing angle is incredible. The one in the front is pointing down at the doorstep and it still can see to the corner intersection and to the neighbors driveways. With a great field of view and 4k, it's an awesome combo. This camera has activity zones so I was able to set where in the field of view I want the motion alerts triggered. Connected to alexa with the arlo skill, and now I don't miss much. Sometimes the alert comes about 10 seconds after the motion is detected, but it's plenty good enough to alert me and I still know before someone gets to my door. just wish that the continuous recording plan wasn't a $20 add on, seems a bit on the high side. All in all it's great and I think I'll be keeping it!UPDATE 12/16/21: After further testing, I find the battery life to be lacking and the service by arlo to be unreliable. Sometimes the notices of motion don't actually come through until the event is already over. That does not work for me. I compromised on having something that doesn't record 24/7 but I need to get alerts immediately. The service isn't that great but the cameras are. I'm going with a different company now.

I was skeptical at spending the money on this system. But having set the system up I now feel the system is well worth the cost. It was easy to setup and works as advertised. I was a little put off on the subscription fee but for what the system does I feel it's worth it. I bought the Ultra and the resolution is excellent.
