Sure! I guess that depending on the weather and humidity of your city it will last less or longer. Nevertheless there are other options for motor homes or boats that might last longer

can you pack these in packings for overseas moving?

i would pack unused ones only. the purpose of them is to collect water....you dont want have used ones in your packing.
