I know my property like the back of my hand. I have my micro. Cam at a salt lick. The deer move in there about 30 minutes before sunrise. And about midnight. While I drink my coffee in the mornings. I say to my wife. It’s about time. Suddenly, I start getting alerts. Numerous pics come to my phone. It’s mounted in a mostly shady spot. The solar charger works great. Battery hasn’t been below 96%. It’s been there over 2 weeks now. Great camera. Wish the picture quality was slightly better. Still good enough to see the antlers budding out. I WILL BUY ANOTHER ONE!

If you are really into wasting money and horrible customer service, then this is the camera for you! I bought one of these things expecting at least mediocre results and boy was I surprised! I purchased this piece of crap two months ago. I set it up in my backyard so I could learn the camera and work out any kinks before deer season. I can only imagine how much more frustrated and pissed off I would be right now had I driven all of the way out to our hunting property and installed it. This was the only smart decision that I made in this expensive, snowballing debacle!I CAN SEE THE CAMERA FROM MY WINDOW WITH PLENTY OF SIGNAL AND IT STILL SUCKS!!! I got about 24 hours of decent, but confusing use out of it at first. Tried different things, called customer service and it still wouldn't work like I expected. So, I bought an antenna - still sucks. Maybe it's the battery, then? Because the battery never lasted more than two days. So, I bought a 12V battery and a solar panel for it. That should fix it, right? HAHAHAHA! Hell no! Now it has power, but tries to send me hundreds and hundreds of pictures of NOTHING each day and night. Several each minute, sometimes! It doesn't matter what you do to the settings, it just keeps sending pictures of nothing over and over and over again. Then, like this afternoon, it just stops taking pictures all together. Also, I cut every bit of brush out of the way of the camera to make sure it wasn't wind-driven movement triggering the camera. Not the problem. I thoroughly cleaned the plastic over the lens and sensing device. Also not the problem. A total of four phone calls and several hours of my time with customer service and no resolve. Much of that time was spent on hold only to talk to someone who barely speaks English. I'm $500 into this thing with accessories and could not be more disappointed. Lesson learned.Use judgement when reading reviews on this product. The websites of those who sell the camera and its' accessories hold far more good reviews than blogs and websites that don't make money off of Spypoint. Do a quick Google search and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.Oh, yeah... when I first ordered this thing, my family thought it would be a cool thing to get my dad for Father's Day. So, we did. That was even a bigger mistake. His is an unreliable piece of crap, too. I'll shout it from the rooftops for the rest of my life how horrible this product and company are. Tell your friends!

I like how easy it is to mount. Cell connection needs to be better.

So I bought one of these SpyPoint LTE cameras and setup was a breeze, operation was fantastic……for the first week or so, then the inside of the camera lense got moisture on it. Put in for a return and replace. Second camera goes up, in an open field same as the first….this one lasted only a few days before the same moisture returns and will not go away. Asked for a refund, that was almost a year ago. I use hunting cameras of all kinds, this brand BY FAR is the worst I’ve ever owned, I’ve bought a lot of bottom of the barrel cams.PS - still no refund….so I’m just out several hundred bucks….

I am using this system for security on my property. So far it is working as expected. I have caught pictures of animals as well. There is a delay before it captures pictures and I have it set to 10 seconds but it seems the delay is a little longer based on the pictures. But over all I am satisfied and will be purchasing a second one when SPYPOINT comes out with their new camera system this June.

Worked good on first test before going outside. Next day, it was not sending pics. Called tech support and they had me reformat SD card (takes a long time). Still not sending pics, so reload firmware and working again.Next day noticed that camera was taking/sending pics every minute! Called support, they looked at settings and could not explain it. Lighting changes can often trigger a response, but I don’t believe that was the cause.Decided on my own to reload firmware and camera is now operating properly. No more pics every minute. Placed in the field and it is working great.Solar panel keeps battery charged well. Hope the camera lasts.
