Should never be sold without the felt liner!
This headache hat is a life-saver for headache sufferers BUT it should NOT be sold without the felt liner. The first one I bought included the liner for the same price as they are now selling it without. I bought the 2nd one for a friend who has frequent migraines and imagine my surprise when she opened it there was no liner! It was an inconvenience to order the liner not to mention I suggested to her not to use the hat until the liner was on it. In conclusion, if the liner is so expensive ($7) to the manufacturer, then raise the price to include it!! I would have given this product more than 5 stars but the 4 star rating is because the liner was not included.

We needed the circumference of the hat to be larger....velcro doesn't close all the way
easy to wear and rapid relief for migraines!!

Best ice pack I have found for migraines
Best ice pack I have found for migraines. Very easy to wrap around your head and velcro closure makes it easy to adjust for the amount of pressure you want. For some reason it sometimes feels better to lay on my back during a migraine, but it's hard to get an ice pack against the most painful spot when i'm on my back. With the headache hat, the velcro is at the back of my head, so it's comfortable not having "ice blocks" back there. Then the rest of my head is icing down. It also really helps to keep you in darkness if you pull it down a smidge - really love this feature. I ordered the felt liner and maybe it's helpful when you first put the "hat" on. It attaches nicely. You could improvise with something at home, but it is nice that it's cut to size. I ordered the standard size and it's perfect. I haven't measured my head, but it's probably average for a 5'7" average sized woman. Usually stays cold for several hours. Thinking about getting a 2nd one since migraines can last longer and even whey end, it still feels good on the head. Also, using it if I'm headachy and worried migraine may be coming. It stays on so you can be sitting up or walking with it on your head.

Second purchase - first one ripped!
This is my second purchase and, while I really LOVE this product - it has been an absolute lifesaver (or head saver) - the fabric of the first one was very flimsy and cheap and tore very easily. It lasted for some months but we're replacing it with this one. This replacement appears to have a bit more heft and we hope it lasts longer.

Best thing ever invented for migraines!!
I’ve purchased 6! Gave them to people with migraines and they love them also! I love having an extra ice pack to put in, because I need cold for hours when I have migraines. The only drawback, is that they will pop if melted and you have too much pressure on them. I don’t lay on mine. It goes around the front and sides of your head. I wear an eye mask too because it’s pretty cold on your forehead. I cannot say enough about how they have helped me. I use them every day because I have a migraine every day. So worth the money in my opinion

Cold wrap
Freezes quickly, had to purchase liner because extremely cold on skin without it. Still is too cold to use without additional liner material.

Don’t Waste Your Money
I laughed when I opened this. This is literally just a strip of fleece that someone quickly and sloppily cut, then said “Good enough, that will be $6.” Don’t waste your money. Buy some fleece yourself or use a dish towel. I thought this would be specifically compatible with the headache hat, but it’s not. It’s just a money grab.
