I found this just what I needed, it is strong enough to carry my large cat easily and has zip closure which is better and less stressful for my cat than the plastic cages with clip closure which he was always getting out of.

A good, well-made and surprisingly sturdy and roomy carrier. Unfortunately, I have had to return it as, when I assembled it, I realised that it was not suitable for my cat who always has accidents of both kinds on the way to and from the vets! I was looking for a carrier that would allow easy 'shoving-in' (the cat has old back leg injuries): the door and top access on the present out-grown rigid plastic carrier were small and resulted in a very stressed cat and an even more stressed slave not wanting to hurt his back legs. Putting 12lb of anger into the rigid carrier by myself was nigh on impossible - this soft-sided carrier seemed perfect and I would recommend it, except if your cat has a large bladder and pees from squatting to upright, never mind the other, er, evacuation....

This has got to be the worst cat carrier I have ever used. Yes it folds flat yes great for storage but try to put it together well forget it! It just keeps folding and once it's all in place don't unzip to put your cat in if you need to get to the vets because as it begins to fold again your cat has gone!

Ideal carry cases due to ease of access (top and side zip opening) My cats are more than happy to use them and they are plenty spacious enough

I finally got chance to use this, to transport Kit to vets for spay. It's much safer than the old type cat carrier, and Kit seemed happy to be in it(I left it open for a few days, so she could get used to it) I'm really pleased with it, it's very sturdy and plenty of choices for access. Highly recommended. Thank you

Just got the carrier and our cat went straight in! He might not feel the same once we close the front but so far so good. Very study, happy with the quality. This is the bigger size as he's a 5.3kg cat so quite big.

Replaced an old plastic carrier that had a dodgy handle with this. Be sure to check the size, I initially ordered the small, as my cat isn’t big, but I would suggest you get the mediums even for a small cat.
