The product has limitations. The two ends do not adequately extend into the basket. If you make one side sufficiently extended, the other cannot be.I had to return it although it’s a very good idea.

Works as either a tamper or a distributor, but not great for both. One has to be all the way screwed in which renders it useless for the other to be useful. Ended up having to order a separate tamper.

Simple product I can’t see spending over $150 when this seems to do the job. I distribute & tamp. I’ve been using a bottomless portafilter, which would show channeling from a poor tamp & have gotten great results. Change the dose, give each side a twist. Once dialed in, you are good to go w/o the big tamping moves.

It's sturdy and works well, creates nice even tamp pressure. This type of tamper is also good for arthritic fingers. It's messy though, lots of static.

Works very well for the money.
