Gothic Victorian Dresses for Women Civil War Costumes Queen Ball Gown Masquerade Dress

Bought this dress for a Halloween costume. It’s great! It does run bigger than size, I got a large, should’ve gotten a medium. I wish it was a bit tighter in the waist area. It’s made well, good material, not stretchy. The material is not super thick but it is not thin, flimsy or delicate like a typical cheap Halloween costume. The style is perfect for early 1900s era. Can definitely use it for multiple occasions!

This outfit was well made, fit great and was so perfect for a masquerade party! Got so many complements!

The dress is made out of thick material and good quality. My daughter is 4’ 10” and weighs 124 pounds , she likes her dresses and shirts loose fitting so it fit perfect . The dress was a little long but not that bad , she is very excited to use it for her Wax Museum project of Marie Curie .

It's a decent, nicely made dress, however it's mostly suitable for Halloween parties rather than reconstruction events. Doesn't work with a hoop skirt, 'cause it's too narrow for it. That's a real bummer.It has a side zipper, buttons are stitched in parallel, modern way, corsage is for a longer torso, basically making it more of a midi-dress than a maxi, sleeves are also more of a 3/4 length, than full length.I ordered a red one somehow expecting that it would be more of a bordeaux color. In reality it is very distinctly red (which works just fine for me though).I don't mean to say that description is misleading, but the photos somehow are.I am 5'10'' size 00, have ordered an XS. It is definitely more of size two dress, and it is up to my ankles rather than grazing the floor. With the hoop skirt it is going to be even shorter, taking away even more of grandness of the look.I would recommend it for shorter individuals, but not for taller ones.

Went by the size chart and got the 4x - it’s huge on me. But because the size chart is off, I don’t know whether to purchase a 3x or 2x. I liked it otherwise - it makes for a great mourning dress. The material was nice and thick and it’s good for Halloween. The only problem with the dress was the size.

Runs true to size. Fabric is very soft, well made, absolutely beautiful. A little long on me but that is normal. Looking forward to wearing it. ❤️❤️❤️. I ordered the purple & wine. Will definitely order the navy. Highly recommend.

I bought this dress for Halloween last year to be the Woman in Black and scare the crap out of people at our annual Halloween party. Since then, I’ve used it to play the Wicked Witch of the West. Easily transform it into Lizzie Borden by carrying around an axe, or wear a veil and be an old-timey widow. The dress is good quality and comfortable. Doesn’t seem to wrinkle that easy. Worth the money.

Product is smaller than anticipated. Fits everywhere except the waist. To bad cause it was perfect for the Sweeny Todd play.
