Well Made
I used this to replace an offset mount that got in the way of my grip on my carbine. It's extremely well made and appears to be pretty much bombproof, as well as being very compact and slim. It is exactly what I needed. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that I couldn't get it to mount to my G2 as per the directions, and had to play around with it to get it to fit. Once it did, it locks up great. The other issue is that the screws only go into the mount half way, but the directions don't indicate this. I spent a good 10-15 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong as it seemed like the screws should go all the way in. Finally I emailed the company and within an hour or two they had emailed me back and told me the screws were only intended to go in halfway. Problem solved quickly by GG&G customer service. (Thanks!) If you're looking for a weapons light mount that is not offset, I highly recommend this one. I have several other different mounts that have now been relegated to the scrap heap and am ordering another one of the GG&G for my other carbine. Great, solidly built product.

Fit existing light perfectly
Had a small cheap tac light that fit it perfectly. Mounts to any Picitinny rail with ease.

Perfect Fit
I was looking for something similar to my SureFire M79 ring mount, which is discontinued and impossible to find. After much searching, I finally decided on the GG&G ring for my modded G2 light. Using a Magpul M-Lock offset mount (MAG604) to mount it to my rail, it worked out EVEN BETTER than my SureFire ring. It moves the light closer to the rail, positioning the Surefire XM07 tailcap almost perfectly for weak-hand operation with my thumb. It locks the G2 tightly, and a little Loc-tite blue keeps the locking nut from working it's way out.

Great Customer Service
I got this mount for my Glock 23 C for Christmas and I didn't get around to testing it on my pistol for a awhile. I was missing a little metal band that locks the mount to the rail and GG&G were great at getting me the part at no charge. The company is out of Arizona and it is nice to talk to Americans who speak English as a first language. The mount itself is super tough and really simple to install. All you need is a screwdriver and is pretty much idiot proof. You want to go with a Surefire light because a lot of lights have the reputation of failing when mounted to a firearm during repeated use. You have got to be able to see what you are shooting at and there is severe criminal liability if you don't. The GG&G mount is a must to keep yourself out of the pokey.

Holds G2 light like a rock
I have this holding a G2 flashlight and it was initially mounted on my Bushmaster AR 15 on a rail in the Front sight post. Yes you have to loosen 2 screws and slide in light and make sure the other side of strap is engaged as you retighten the screws. I put an EOTECH LBC on my EOTech 552 and the rail rig blocked the laser. I ended up with a Magpul M-Lok handguard for the rifle and now the light is on a M-Lok rail on the handguard. It is rock solid and just as a tip - once mounted just unscrew tail cap of light to change batteries instead of disassembling the mount. GG&G makes some exceptionally fine gear.

Nice Holder
Holds my G2 but I did have to work it in. Also screws that hold light dont quit tighten all the way down but Manufacture says thats normal. Havent shot with it yet. If I have problems I will repost.

Does not fit G2 flashlight.
GGG makes some great AR accessories. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. This mount does NOT fit the Surefire G2 flashlights. It is too small. Returning mine for something else that will fit properly.
