A good reliable drive.
Purchased two of these to use in a Synology NAS system. This is the third pair I have bought. The first 4 drives have been funning 24/7 for 3 years.

Un prodotto non di certo economico, ma che assolve perfettamente al suo lavoro. I dischi rigidi per nas sono progettati per rimanere accesi e funzionanti H24 7/7, 365gg all'anno. Al momento della recensione questo hard disk lo ho da circa 1 anno, non ho ancora incontrato problema alcuno. I tempi di accesso sono nella norma, anche da standby in massimo 2 secondi accediamo ai file sul nostro hard disk. Le velocità di lettura e scrittura dipendono anche dal tipo di collegamento del NAS, nel mio caso il fattore limitante è proprio l'hard disk stesso, con velocità di scrittura che si aggirano attorno ai 50mb/s. Per il momento l'affidabilità sembra buona, non è il primo disco Western Digital che acquistiamo, e ne siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti.
