First off I would just like to start of by I've had these two since the beginning of the year so think I've had time to test them. You cannot go wrong for your money.. They are lightweight compared to the old clunkers that I had. The sound quality is excellent and I've had a chance to push them hard and they held up just fine. I am amazed every time I listen to them compared to the 901 series V that I have.. Rockville RSG 12.4 are worth every penny. Thank you Rockville

Great quality product and service!

These get pretty loud when paired with my Rockville RPA-9s. Not a lot of lows, but sound is quite usable for live presentations. Didn't get any "rattling" that others complained about. At higher volume levels there were occasional "crackles" from the horn and tweeters. Installed a 2-way crossover (2nd order filter with ~4kHz crossover) putting 12" cone to the low-pass, and board with the cement resistors attached to accompanying mid horn and tweeters to the high-pass. Also remade a few of the uglier solder joints - yeah each speaker box had a few of those, not that they were going to come apart or anything, but talk about "the blob" - just sayin'. Anyway, the crossover cured the "crackle" issue. The optimist in me wants to say it actually sounds a little more clean too, but the reality is that my old, feeble ears can't really tell the difference. All in all though, they're pretty cool units for the money.

Just used a pair of these while DJing a backyard party last weekend. We had 2 live performers along with DJ music. I got many complements about how clear all the music was. I was able to put out enough volume to be almost to loud for the 3 acres of land that i was supplying with music. The base was lacking a bit, but i didn’t expect sub level base from these.i haven’t used them indoors yet, but i would expect a similar result. Are they worth the money? I think so.

This product is garbage, connector failed and service , customer service dept failed to correct the problem, speakers sound is less than desirable, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM THIS VENDOR OR BRAND

These guys only got me one speaker on the first shipment and I thought it had been lost. I contacted them and they could not have been nicer. Emailed me back, cleared up the matter. I am not in a position to test these for music at this point but I use them for voice and they are really terrific speakers. I didn't realize quite how big they are, so do measure, but having many years of experience in various sound applications, I am very impressed by the quality of sound and the people who sold these to me.

Not recommend for bands or anything live outside of maybe a living room. Maybe a good retirement home option but questionable. No power and the sound is blah blah

great passive speakers for the price. sound quality got even better with a pre-amp.
