Much better than plastic
When I moved in, the shelves were being held up with plastic pieces. After time the got brittle and broke, so I decided to go with something heavy duty. These have worked well and fit snuggly.

I ordered and assembled a small cabinet I really love and purchased on Amazon. The small pegs included for the 1 shelf were tiny plastic. I prefer the metal pegs which are far more durable and better support the shelves.I actually purchased 2 more cabinets and have plenty of metal pegs in this package to install the shelves in the other 2 cabinets.Exactly as described and a bargain price - 5/5!

Good quality, adequate number to do 15 shelves, good value, fit fine & snug
Sure this product doesn't come with a plastic storage box BUT I decided on this seller for the greater number of pegs they provided. Let's see, it takes 4 pegs to mount a shelf, so why are competitors offering odd number of pegs? This actually has increments of four , so you can do 15 separate shelves with an even number of pegs ! wow common sense in use.Instead of searching around inside a box store, I decided on the convenance of waiting a day and getting the larger number of pegs delivered. Good quality & nice finish.

Great shelf pegs
A few of them were a little tight going in, almost necessitating a hammer. Not sure whether to blame the book shelf or the pegs. Either way, once installed, they work great! No complaints with these.

Save Time, Save Your Fingers with these Shelf Pegs
We ordered the 5mm Delatanus Shelf Peg Pins because in our to the studs kitchen reno we designed and built new top and bottom cabinets. We purchased the peg hole jig specifically for the 5mm Delantanus shelf pegs as we've had excellent results in our previous reno with these pegs. The shelf pegs are a quality, dimension consistent manufactured part that is repeatable from peg to peg, i.e., the outside diameter dimension of the pegs do not vary from one part to the other. When you have three shelves per cabinet, and twelve cabinets with four shelf pegs each (that's 144 pegs) consistency is extremely important. Having an odd diameter can create a mess that is not only time consuming, but tiring on the fingers that insert the pegs. We recommend the 5mm Delatanus Shelf Peg Pins because they are well made, good quality and most importantly - consistent diameters.
