20% restocking fee for returns
The material was good quality but the shirt ran big, I ordered a large for my father who is 5’11 and 205 lbs. I always get him a large in shirts but this shirt was a little baggy and came down to his thighs. I decided to return it and order something else. When setting up the return it states that the seller charges postage for returns (which was fine), a day later I get a message that the seller has “approved my return” didn’t know I needed approval to return something that didnt fit right. After reading the instructions on how to go about returning the item, I was informed that there is a 20% restocking fee, I am keeping the shirt and donating it. I will make sure to never order from this seller again.

What Lands End Mocks Used to Be.
I saw a review here of this item comparing it unfavorably to Lands End mocks. I used to love Lands End mocks, too. Now their mock turtlenecks are 'Super-Tees', made of a noticeably flimsier material. Sure, nice and heavy for a t-shirt (5.3 oz cotton). but not worth the 25 - 35 bucks regular price Lands End charges for what is basically a long sleeve beefy t.Their heavier, interlock mock regularly sells for 35 - 45 dollars!Well, they've subtler colors at lands end, it's true, but that hardly seems to me worth two - three times what you'll pay here, for these soft, heavy, 6.3 oz cotton shirts. One caveat, the red is a brighter red than it appears on this web page, and the dark green seems to have a tinge of blue about it. This 'maroon', though, is precisely the same color as what Lands End used to call 'Plum', but now calls 'Brandywine'. The other two I'm exchanging for a black and a grey. The red and green I ordered just *pop* a little too much for me.Also, as another reviewer mentioned, these run large. I ordinarily take an XL in shirts, but even after a wash and dry, this XL I ordered fits more like an XXL. Good news is, no noticeable shrinkage. I'm 5' 10" and 200 pounds, and my advice is, if you're an XL at least, order the Large, and save yourself the hassle of an exchange.

Love this shirt
After a year and repeated washings, I continue to love this shirt. It did not shrink or fade, and the fabric is still soft to the touch. I am 6'1" and weigh 190 lbs, and usually I need a large tall, but the regular large fits me perfectly. The mock turtle is just tight enough around my neck, and there is ample room across the shoulders so the sleeves don't become too short when I reach out my arms. I have ordered additional shirts in other colors.

I am a perfect "medium, " and that is the size I ...
I have a mock turtleneck (Lands End) that I have had for years, and decided to buy others. I read the product descriptions carefully, looking for "spandex" in the neck, so that the shirt would fit well--snug at the neck. Although this shirt specified spandex, the neck is floppy. I am a perfect "medium," and that is the size I ordered. A small would, potentially, have been tight around the neck, but I probably could not have gotten it over my shoulders. Anyway--final commented--disappointed.

Port Authority Men's Interlock Knit Mock Turtleneck, steel gray
Wore shirt to day (arrived yesterday and I did not wash it). The Neck and Wrist fit snugly and do not allow air to flow out or in -- retains heat in higher humidity situation on the golf course. Body fabric breathes in a breeze and shirt was comfortable to wear when the humidity level declined on a sunny central Texas early October day. Shirt looked good post round and still was without noticeable odor (unlike other long-sleeve turtle-necks I've worn for several years).

Still Looking
I bought this mock turtleneck to wear under sweaters. I run cold and need the layering in the winter months. I wanted black. After reading the reviews, I decided to order a small and I normally wear a medium. The shirt does say Unisex also. I am so glad I ordered the small, it is still roomy and seems to fit more like a medium but I would say this is more for a guy and not a female. I am going to have to keep looking for a decent weight and good looking mock turtleneck for women. Nice price and arrived timely. Since it will be under a sweater most of the time, I am able to wear it but not by itself since it looks manly.I wanted to make sure I updated my review on this mock turtleneck. I have worn it a few times now always under a sweater and I find that it fits comfortable and keeps me warm. It is not thin or cheap! I like the mock turtleneck since a regular turtleneck can be to tight. I do recommend this shirt for men or women. I am not looking now for a mock turtleneck, I enjoy this one. I also do not feel this looks as manly as I first thought, I would wear it under a vest. It is rare that I would wear a turtleneck my itself, but you could with this shirt.

It did shrink a bit and fits now as good as to be expected
Exactly what I was looking for... to wear under my #3 Seahawk Jersey. Yes, I wear an X-Large and this shirt was slightly larger than most X-large, but mostly in the length of the sleeves... It did shrink a bit and fits now as good as to be expected. The shirt itself is very well made and the length of the shirt was long enough to be tucked in if you wish. I like the heavier material and good detail of collar and sleeves. I'm probably going to order another one in gray.I was especially pleased how quickly the shirt arrived.

Thin Material
I received this shirt yesterday, and I'm a little surprised by how thin it is. It's just the same thickness as a regular t-shirt. It's good for wearing under another shirt, but it's not heavy enough to be the one and only mock turtle shirt in your wardrobe.I won't return it, I ordered it as an experiment to see what the Port Authority brand was like. I'll keep it and wear it to places where I'd wear a t-shirt, but I wouldn't wear it to a restaurant or party unless I was going to wear a nicer shirt over it.Overall I'd say it's just an OK shirt. If you want something nicer look for something heavier.EDIT:I've had this shirt for about a year now, and I'd like to add that the collar gets stretched from pulling it over your head. It looks loose and wrinkled, and It's just not a good look. The shirt is comfortable and fits fine (but a little large) but the neck makes it look kind of bad.

Great fit, bit long
If you're on the taller side I highly recommend this. I'm around 6'3, 210 and ordered XXL. Nice, baggy fit that I was going for. Size down for something more professional. I will say the neck is rather small, but its a stretchy fabric so that's no big deal. Navy is also a lighter colour than it appears in photos, more of a smokey/dusky blue.

the color is great the fit is good but the turtleneck part does ...
the color is great the fit is good but the turtleneck part does not hold but to multiple washes. It gets all wavy. I donated all 4 that I bought to the diabetes association.
