This is such a fantastic upgrade to my entire audio workflow. Been using other mic for 3 years but now this sounds so damn professional for our youtube channel with 1 5 lakh subscribers.

On the back, you have a knob that allows you to directly control the mic's gain. Beneath the gain dial is the real crown jewel of this mic: a multipattern selector switch with four recording modes. Like the Snowball, you have an omnidirectional mode, for picking up sound from all directions, and a cardioid pattern, for focusing on sound directly in front of mic. Because the Yeti uses a unique, three-capsule design (instead of the two included on the Snowball or the single capsule used by most other microphones), the microphone offers two more recording patterns: a stereo mode, and a bidirectional mode that pulls sound from directly in front or behind the mic.

now it feels out dateed and old. very heavy and sturdy. takes up lots of space on your table. the Ps are very clear. but sound quality feels outdated

This is a good product for voice recording using your laptop. I use a Macbook pro 2020 which has a very good microphone but not suitable for voice recording so i was looking for a higher quality microphone. I ordered Blue snowball ice but found snowball ice sound quality was same as my MacBook pro’s inbuilt microphone. Finally i ordered Blue yeti and once i used it, i can confirm this has good good quality recording and good output. As far as noise cancellation is concerned, it doesn’t pick sound of fan which my MacBook pro was able to pick. Apart from this, one must ensure recording is done in a silent environment for best results as no microphone would give good results in noisy areas. I am fully satisfied with quality of Blue yeti and its sound output and i am also satisfied with Amazon for their quick service. I highly recommend this microphone as you can’t go wrong with it.

Fantastic mic....captures every detail

I recently ordered the Blue Yeti USB Microphone for Recording from Amazon India with high hopes for its performance and quality. However, what I received was a far cry from what I expected.Firstly, the product I received was clearly used, with noticeable scratches and signs of wear and tear. It was evident that this was not a new item. Moreover, the absence of a guarantee card and user manual added to the disappointment. These are essential components that should accompany any new purchase, ensuring authenticity and providing guidance on usage.The packaging of the product was also subpar. It arrived in poor condition, lacking the protection necessary to safeguard the item during transit. This neglect in packaging reflects poorly on the seller's commitment to delivering quality products to their customers.What exacerbated the situation was the delay in receiving the product. Despite placing the order on April 10th, it took a frustratingly long 10 days for it to arrive. Such a lengthy wait only added to the anticipation, making the disappointment upon opening the package even more palpable.Overall, my experience with this purchase has been extremely unsatisfactory. As a consumer, I expect transparency, quality, and efficiency when making online purchases, none of which were met in this instance. I have since returned the product and am left feeling thoroughly disappointed. This ordeal serves as a cautionary tale for others considering purchasing from this seller.

This microphone is not working, maybe someting is missing. Voice is not coming whatever I speak.

I love my Yeti mic as my voice sounds much better and i can adjust the gain so easily.Helps with all my zoom calls knowing i can be understood.

Super easy to set up, the sound is excellent and the pickup pattern is easily adjusted to cut out background noise. I use the cardioid pattern and it has an excellent ability to pick up my voice off-axis without any BG noise.I particularly like the good onboard amp that solves line-level problems with USB mics and the mute control button is excellent.I use it in an overhead boom arm configuration just above a logitec camera and it works like a charm. Don't waste your time and money on XLR solutions unless you need super high-quality output and have a mixer board.
