How stable is it with one person?

It's very stable, I've taking it up rivers and on the lake. I have not taken it white water rafting, I would rather have a duckie kayak. I've enjoyed it and it's cheap entertainment. I must say the trade off is that it does not track as well as a plastic kayak, but you can't put a plastic kayak in the back seat or front seat of your car.

Does this glide through the water better than an inflatable boat?

This is the 1st inflatable kayak/boat I’ve owned. I live on a canal...so it’s perfect for me. No waves or rocks, but a really good workout.

How thick is the PVC?
