Wahl Professional Animal 10W Extra Wide Ultimate Competition Series Detachable Blade with 1/16-Inch Cut Length (2377-500)

Arrived timely and works great. I am a dog groomer and use this blade to get through matts and thick coats. Know that it is NOT a finish blade, so you'll need to go over the coat a few times; and also know that it is a blade that will cut the hair very short - we use this blade for shave downs. But, this particular blade was as advertised, new and works like a charm.

It went through just like butter on my goldendoodle

It worked fine on my mixed labrador-sheperd breed's hair but when I used next on my Belgian Malinois it could hardly cut her hair.In my opinion it is only good for one cutting. The hair of my Belgian Malinois are tough and did easily dulled the blade.

Very upset. I purchased this blade while waiting for my new set of clippers to come in. Now that the clippers are in and I am ready to clip I find out this blade is no good. Maybe defective ? I started to clip my horse last night and took two swipes and the blade stopped working. I cleaned it and oiled it and tried again and it wouldn’t cut. I waited until my husband got home and he took it apart and cleaned and oiled it again. This morning I try to clip again and what happens? Same thing. I have a horse with random clipped spots and no blade to clip him with. This is unacceptable. The Wahl brand has been good, not sure why the product quality is going downhill. Side note: my horse has been clipped for years with wahl blades. I pressure wash and thoroughly clean my horse, so it isn’t because he is dirty.

I use this on clipper over comb during haircuts and low cuts to mow down the hair and it works wonders!!

I like this blade a lot. It makes stripping a thick coated big dog super quick.

Haven't used this yet, but it seems very well made and perfect for body clipping horses
