Love it...create a revolutionary shift in your mindset by asking yourself " Does it spark joy?"
I will admit, this was not not what I expected (I didn't really know what to expect but I reasoned if it was from Marie Kondo, I wanted it..) I love the feel of it, the size of it ( it matches perfectly the size of her other two books in height, making it a great set for deeply delving into Marie Kondo's principles, and one you can keep out on a table or counter or under your pillow to remind you of your desire of getting into the habit of "the life-changing magic of tiding up". I especially like the 3 year journal aspect of it and the space in which to write of things that spark joy everyday.. I find that this journal is a perfect tool to help me in discovering the daily things I do that truly bring me joy. Helping me choose more of those activities that do bring me joy and discarding more of the the ones that do not spark joy for me. It helps you focus on the positive and ties in perfectly with her other 2 books. It is a process helper. Great Job Marie! Thank you. I have ordered one for a friend that is on the same path as I, and another for myself so that I will have 6 years of joy gathering data. One thing I do think would help is to let buyers be able to look inside the journal so that they might understand more clearly what they are buying. I am good with this as I said, because it works very well for me as I have already read her other 2 books and I see how perfectly they dovetail and go together.

A Great, Simple Gratitude Journal for Those Who Struggle to Write
I love this gratitude journal! It’s design is very simple and minimalistic and not super flashy like a lot of other gratitude journal’s I’ve seen. The journal only asks that you write about a paragraph every day, which is great for someone like me who struggles to fill pages either because I can’t think of much to say or because of hand cramps. I find that the smaller spaces actually help motivate me to write every day, too, which is super helpful because I have a hard time establishing new habits and my experiences in school have lead me to usually shy away from writing. In fact, my writing in this journal has inspired me to buy journals full of writing prompts to start working on. The smaller writing spaces also means there’s room for three years worth of entries! It will be exciting to start back at the beginning of the book next year and compare my entries.I totally recommend it if you have an interest in writing, but struggle to get yourself to pick up a pencil; it’s a great way to ease yourself into journaling.

Sparks Joy
I tried several years ago to keep a "gratitude box", but I had trouble keeping up with it, and after a few months it petered out. I may miss a few days with this journal, but I can always go back and find something that sparked joy each day. It lives on my desk, so I can't forget it for too long. It's a wonderful tool for keeping joy front and center, and for cultivating gratitude. I frequently think throughout the day, "I should put *this* in my journal!" I've only been doing it for 2 months, but look forward to reading back through the entries as I fill in the next year.

It doesn't spark joy.
I didn't know what to expect because this was a new item and had no reviews when I ordered it. It is described as a stationary item so I was hoping for a mostly blank book with questions leading me through decluttering different areas of the house or my life. It turns out to be just a gratitude journal. There are a few quotes scattered throughout the book but it's basically a page for each day of the year, with 3 spaces for 3 different years, where you can record what sparked joy that day. I don't hate it but I was hoping for something a little more KonMari specific like a weekly or monthly focus on a particular area of life. As a gratitude journal it is okay. I was just hoping for something more.

I called my declutter book
It changed my life. I am so much more organized than I ever was. Yes, it does. Take time to get organized, but it’s worth it.

Not what I thought it was going to be
The description of this journal is seriously lacking. I (like a lot of other reviewers, it seemed) thought this was going to help guide you through the KonMarie process. This journal DOES NOT do that. If you're looking for something that does it, this is not your item. This is a journal where each page has its own date with 20_ _ and six lines for writing, repeated three time per page (or for 3 years worth of notes for that date). There are quote pages interspersed with the blank journal pages. You are supposed to write down something that "sparked joy" each day for 3 years. I took off a star for the poor product explanation and the item being fairly different than expected/anticipated.All that being said, I think the journal is neat. We each have our own tidying pace and if there were set things to KonMarie by a certain date it may be frustrating if you aren't making progress and get behind. Maybe a better idea for a tidying journal would be no dates and have the journal broken up by categories with space to reflect once you tidy certain items and some tips/tricks/hints to tidying that category. I would buy that. I intend to use this as a journal where I write down something positive about each day (something that sparked joy). The six lines are a good amount for not making you feel bad when you just write one sentence or for leaving you enough space to write down a little bit of a story.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$$$ BUYING THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought that this would have writing prompts, which it didn't. I didn't realize it has dated entries, which if I had known I would not have ordered. .The space for each entry is very small. Random quotes, no inspiring artwork. I would have been better off spending $1 to buy a composition notebook, and decorating it myself. This was definitely NOT worth the nearly twelve dollars I paid for it. I seriously feel cheated. If I return it, I will lose out on free shipping, so it won't be worth it.
