the Delta Faucet U1075-PK Diverter Tub Spout in my bathroom, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! This spout has significantly improved my bathing experience. What more is there to say, that I didn’t include in the title? I wrapped the original faucet in a rag and used my adjustable wrench to unscrew it until it was removed. I then used the Teflon tape that was included in the packaging on the threads of the pipe protruding from the wall. If you’ve never used Teflon tape, just use a finger to hold it tight against the pipe threads and pull snugly around the threads around the pipe about 3 - 4 times in a clockwise direction then just pull the tape until it breaks. Finally start screwing the new faucet by hand until it becomes tighter and then place the rag on the new faucet and use the wrench to turn it tightly so that it is set in the right direction. I was fortunate that this was exact match for the one I removed, but it did come with additional hardware in the event it was needed.

This kit includes most everything you'll need (except perhaps a tubing cutter and some emery cloth). It works with half-inch smooth or threaded wall pipe, 3/4-inch threaded pipe, or plastic pipe with a threaded fitting on the end. The instructions are clear, with the different installation options and parts used shown in a diagram and described in clear English. I like that the two most important parts are made of metal, and seem robust and made with attention to detail. For a smooth pipe installation such as mine, it's important that the sealing collar slide over the smooth pipe easily, but make a robust watertight seal and stay securely in place. The collar in this kit is solid brass, with rubber O-rings on both the inside and outside, and a set-screw (tiny Allen wrench included!) near the wall end. A heavy-duty plastic tube extension screws onto that (sealed with supplied Teflon tape on the threads at both ends), and the nicely cast metal spout screws onto that. The finish looks great and I notice that the small plastic diverter gate inside the spout's end seems to be easily replaceable if it wears out.

if you have an old Delta faucet or spout from the 80s or 90s it probably has a diverter spout adapter on the end of the pipe that you're going to have to sweat that off if you get this one so just keep that in mind. Otherwise the installation was quick easy had no problems. I installed it in under 30 minutes but that's the highest meant all of the valves and seals and everything works nice. Make sure to polish up the copper before putting it on. It doesn't seem like a leaks anywhere I was very happy with it. the only thing I am unhappy at all with on this is the water coming out of the tub spout seems very splashy, kind of turbulent. doesn't keep it from filling the tub but it just would be nice if it was a little smoother flow that's all.

This was very difficult to install the instructions were difficult to understand also. Then, I tried to install it, put it together. Which was hard to figure it out. finally, I Figured it out and wad able to get it working, but it was very loose it and not flush against the wall not sturdy and still so loose. I and my wife, we don't this Item and we returned it already this afternoon. Using the return label you sen't to me. I called amazon customer service after I printed out the return label and asked him if I could open the package and tried to install it and if we didn't like it could return it in the same return label I already have. He said yes, that's why I tried and really do not like this and wanted to return it. It don't look right not flush against the wall and not stable. I am just a normal homeowner, not a plumber.

Worked to replace an older delta spout. It is made of metal with chrome finish. I did not have to use the plastic piece. Fortunately, my pipe came out far enough to twist and screw. If you currently have a screw on spout, you will likely need the plastic piece. I highly recommend going to the hardware store and buying a 1/2 pipe 3" long and a 1/2 pipe 3 1/2 inches long (you will use one and return the other) threaded at both ends. I would not use the plastic one provided if you plan on not fixing again for years to come. I would have given it 4 stars if I needed the pipe the plastic is provided for. Also, you will experience a drip while using the shower. That is normal. I also learned that you should shut the water off before pushing plunger down to disengage the shower to save wear on the gasket.

Easy install. Universal, can fit slip on or IPS connection. I used it for IPS installation but did notice plastic parts for slip on installation. Delta quality, will last a long time. Only issue is that the delivery company dropped off an empty package, I contacted Amazon and a replacement was sent immediately.

Very good quality. Couldn't find just the faucet anywhere else in the local stores so amazon was the only cheap solution. The package contains 5 different options of mounting the faucet so it was pretty good and worked really nice for me.

The plumber found this downspout wasn't a good install option to replace the faulty previous downspout, so instead he installed a Delta RP5834 as a replacement. He didn't charge me for the downspout and took this downspout as a swap to eventually use in a more suitable situation whenever he comes across it. Other than that, I liked the look of it better than this other Delta downspout he installed but I'll get over it.

This is identical to the cheaper, no name tub spout that i was replacing (the diverter on the original spout was corroded). The only difference was the slip connection. On this unit, you have to cut the slip connecting piece - which is easy enough to do, but at this price - you'd think there was a better solution. Also - the slip on metal connection that goes over the 1/2 inch copper pipe has one thin rubber o-ring to prevent leaks. This might be ok with a new connection on a new pipe - but since I was replacing an older slip connection - this leaked (the pipe was old and the old connection left a scratch right where the o-ring sits. I managed to clean up this area using emery paper - but is still drips a little bit. I'm going to remove slip connection and solder on a male copper threaded connection on the end of the copper pipe to ensure that there are no leaks.
