Q: what size are the bags?

Look on the Amazon page, scroll down below the picture and below the "other people bought this" pictures and keep going till you get to product description. I have purchased a couple of different sizes of Ziploc big bags so I don't know which one this is.

Q: Is it waterproof? Put it this way, I'm going to put things in this bag and storage it in a basement with leaking problem. Would I be okay?

I cant say much on this but I would say NO they are not leak proof or water proof the whole you suck the air out off I"m sure can get water in it, its plastic and I highly doubt its 100% proof.

Q: I want to use this to pre soak laundry when travel, will it work?

I wouldn't recommend it. It is a Zip Lock bag just like the others. Could work, but made more for storage with a handle.
