Has surpassed expectations!
This WiFi mesh system has surpassed my expectations and has been working great for nearly 2 months with no issues! WiFi connection is great throughout the house with no dead zones. No WiFi outages at all! Haven’t had to touch these devices since initial set up! So easy to set up too! The app is great and I can see all devices that are connected, as well as devices that have been connected but are currently turned off. I know this system can handle up to 150 devices. I don’t have anywhere near this many but have quite a few and all are working great! I had no issues connecting older devices either, with the instructions provided. Very easy. Most of my devices require 2.4 G and this system a accommodates them all! Great transaction, fast shipping and great packaging to protect the devices! Well worth the money. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and it paid off! Glad I went with this system! One of the reasons, too, was the potential to cover up to 7000 square feet, which was higher than other mesh systems in this price range. I have outdoor WiFi devices that are working great as well due to the great range! I live rurally and the distance I needed wasn’t a security issue but if you live in an area that’s more populated, just we’d to consider the range this covers. However, it’s password protected and with the app, if anyone does manage to connect to your WiFi somehow, you’ll be able to see an unfamiliar device in the device list. Highly recommend!

Amazing Speed, Easy Setup and Nice looking.
So, a little background. I have had the same router for about 5 years, a nighthawk x6 r8000. My house is 4000 sq. ft a main floor and finished basement. I have always been happy with the router's performance and ability to get a signal to 95% of the house by having the router centrally located in the geographic middle of the house. There are a couple of dead spots in the basement and a weak signal in one of the rooms upstairs but all in all, a great router with impressive speeds. I have always resisted the use of signal repeaters but never really had to invest in any because the signal was always ok everywhere we wanted a signal in the house. About 25 devices connected from Iphones, laptops, PC's, android tablet, ipad and security cameras. The speed at the router from Cox cable was about 400mbps and maximum speed at a device clocked in at about 200mbps. The only draw back to this router is that it is ugly and looks like a giant tarantula on it's back. Wife hated having it in the living room.Got the deco router after much research and I have to say, it is impressive. The speed at the router came in at 950mbps and maximum speed at a connected device, a wired pc, came in at 550mbps. Handheld ipad, iphone are coming in at 400mbps at any location throughout the house. The three Decos are not ugly and there is no more upside down tarantula in the living room.Set up was easy as 1,2,3. No instruction to read, Download the Deco app, unplug your cable modem then plug in one of the Deco's and fire it up. When you open the app it guides through the set up which took literally 5 minutes, I kept the same network name and password and all devices connected without any issue with the exception of a couple of the iphones and ipads, but that was easy enough. All security cameras (4) including the driveway camera, doorbell camera, smart TV's (3) connected without any further attention on my part. This is first impressions and if there are any changes I will post them here in the future.

Easy and fast….like lightning fast
We upgraded our M5 system to the X60. We connect around 60 smart devices, tv’s and computers. Our network has never been better. 4K on multiple devices at once. Easy swap for the system that was in place.

Big Improvement and Worth It
So I was hesitant on pulling the trigger on going to a WiFi 6 Mesh network. First off, I’m a Senior Systems Engineer and I know a good bit about this stuff. I live in a 3 story 5000 sq ft home. I was using 3 different routers and had 3 different Wi-Fi access points. So basically I had 3 different Wi-Fi networks. After switching to this TP Link Deco x60 mesh Wi-Fi 6 system, my Wi-Fi speeds literally have increased 10x what it was. I have 1GBPS speeds from my ISP. My daughter was getting 5mbps upstairs with my crappy upstairs router. Now she gets around 50Mbps. Testing with my iPhone, I used to get 60 Mbps, now all iPhones in the house are getting around 550mbps. And I no longer have to worry about 3 separate networks since these use mesh topology. The roaming is awesome and automatically connects to whatever unit Wi-Fi signal is stronger and faster without internet interruption. Setup was super simple. I bought the 3 pack. 1 for basement, 1 for 1st floor and 1 for 2nd floor. Coverage is amazing! Pull the trigger. Wife’s laptop was getting 46Mbps and now it’s getting 400mbps. Major increase and stability.

Great speed and ease of use
These were super easy to setup. I get great coverage throughout my 5,200 square foot house. Using the wired backhaul I regularly get close to 600 Mbps download speeds on my phone or laptop. Quite happy with the app too, including the parental controls. The only downsides are that the configurability is pretty dumbed down compared to some routers. For instance parental controls let you restrict access by broad categories like “adult content” or “download sites”, but there’s no option to add an explicit whitelist of websites, ports or protocols. If you need low level control of your home network this isn’t the router for you.
