I bought this on the advice of my pulmonologist for my cPAP machine, due to there being too much condensation in the tube. My problem of feeling like I was drowning in the condensation is forever solved! Turns out the hose likes a room temp no lower than 68° in the winter, but without the hose cover, there was still too much condensation to be comfortable.

Perfect size for the hose and zips all the way down so installation was a breeze. I highly recommended

So I read this is a good protector from cats who like to play with things which is kind of why I bought it to begin with. However I found it also keeps the air warmer which is really nice for breathing and I found that to be a good addition with the humidifier on my CPAP unit. The cover is easy to zip on and take off as well as cleaning

I wish I would of know about this product earlier. It is very nice and protects my hose from our cat. She love to bite the hose , now she leaves it alone.

When starting CPAP therapy, surprisingly I didn't mind wearing the mask at all, but the plain ribbed heated hose flopping around on my body nearly drove me crazy. Sleeping with a snake definitely wasn't very fun. I found this product to be acceptable and a great improvement to the bare hose; however, the exposed zipper seemed to occasionally catch hairs or rub me the wrong way when tossing and turning. I am not knocking this product at all, and if you don't move around much during sleep like me your mileage may vary, just reporting my own experience. This worked reasonably well, and is fairly priced, but I still wasn't completely satisfied.I'm fortunate enough to know an expert crafter and seamstress who can fashion most anything. I showed her this and explained my issues, and she spent a couple hours whipping me up a custom hose cover, made with a super soft fuzzy minky fabric and overlapping thin velcro closure strip along the entire 6 foot length. Although her handcrafted version cost me twice the price, and depending on wear and tear I may have to buy one annually, what is the value of a consistent good nights rest? Once I had a hose cover with absolutely no hard surfaces and nothing but soft fabric from stem to stern, this one was relegated to my spare CPAP parts drawer.

I bought this hose cover to reduce the noise caused by the ridges of my CPAP hose dragging across the nightstand and bed frame. The fabric padding completely eliminated the rattling and scraping sounds that used to wake my partner. It was relatively easy to install, fits nicely, and even helps keep the hose from slipping around too much. If you or your partner are bothered by the noise of the hose dragging over surfaces, this is a simple but effective fix.

Our new kitten was keeping me awake playing with my CPAP tubing. He has sharp teeth and claws, and I just knew he was going to puncture it. This hose cover came quickly, is very tightly woven and impervious, and keeps his claws and teeth from getting through - at least at this stage. As a bonus, it keeps his play from making any noise at all, which may actually have discouraged him from playing with the tubing at all.I use a Philips Respironics Dreamwear machine, and the 6'4" hose cover was a little too long, but it worked fine, just bunched up a little. I ordered the 6' cover for my husband's CPAP, and it was plenty long enough, if you are looking for a hose cover for your Philips Respironics machine.
