Sturdy
I have installed this on the front of my mountain bike. The mechanism used to screw in the mount is very high-quality and I liked that a screwdriver was not necessary. Although it has a mostly plastic chassis, it is very sturdy and holds my phone well; if I put it into a position it does not move throughout the ride (although this is to be expected, I have found it was not the case with my previous mounts). The phone-holding system works very well, and I can install my phone with only one hand. It is a much faster method than both of my previous phone mounts. The lock mechanism also works very well, however I have found it already has enough strength to hold my phone without having to enable it. Another quality Lamicall product which I would recommend.

Excellent mounting for your smartphone
Very easy to attach to handlebars.Grips my i-phone 11 perrfectly.Gives clear visibility to the whole screen making it easy to follow a routeCan be a bit stiff unloking the phone - but no bad thing as it means your phone is securely held.Easy to release from handle bars for cleaning or if you use on more than one bike

Best Phone mount I have used for 6.5" + Phones !!
Brilliant Phone holder for bikes and scooters. Comes with 7 little strips which you can use to make sure the clasp is the correct size for your handlebars. Very sturdy and secure. It is also very easy to insert phone and take it out. I'm using an ROG Phone 2 with a clear transparent case on and it struggled to fit my phone in with the case on. Easily fits with the case off, but it's another annoying step to remove a case, every time you want to mount your phone to your bike/scooter.Would be nice if it could maybe stretch a few centimeters wider - but what it does is definitely okay - giving 4 stars as it does not fit My ROG Phone 2 with its case - without some proper... ENCOURAGEMENT lol.

Easy, sturdy and works fine on a motorbike
I had a RamMount prior to this but it went with the sale of my bike. I was searching for a suitable alternative and almost went for the QuadLock but couldn't stomach the chunky case or the price. The Lamicall Phone Holder has a quick release style compression connection which allows you to relatively easily swap it between bikes. This proved really handy while my Tiger 800 was in for a service. Simply switched out to the loan bike and allowed me to get across London with ease (or as easy as London ever is).I was a little worried that the clasp wouldn't fit around the fairly thick handlebars on the Triumph Tiger but as you can see in the photo it works very well. The phone holder works when you push the phone into the mount in an upward direction. This mechanically opens the phone mount up. Once seated you release the upward pressure and the mount automatically grips your phone. To ensure it's secure there is a red lock switch on the back of the unit that stops the mount from opening. This is a little stiff to start with but that does give you a little more confidence in the product. So it's certainly less hassle than the mounts with the rubber clasp to hold your phone in place. It's probably a little more effort than a quad lock but not significantly and most of all you don't need a proprietory phone case. All in all, I can't fault it.

Very sturdy. Good quick release mechanism.
[Edit: top notch customer service too! I had a problem where the body came apart at the bottom due to faulty screw fixing and I emailed the short address for the company and I got an immediate reply with an order to send a replacement and it arrived within 2 days. Perfect!]Like you I read reviews about this and the praise they give us well deserved. Fitting with just one bolt was very easy. The clamp works very smoothly, you just pull up one of the top corners and all the corners move out making putting in or taking out your phone easy peasy.Things to note:* If your phone is big and has a thick case, you might struggle to get it completely in. For me, I just take my phone out from its case - problem solved.* The unit itself does not have a quick release from the handlebars, so it would be a faff transferring it between bikes. I guess their solution is "buy two" π.* It's adjustable in every direction, so you can set it just right for you.

Really well designed and constructed phone holder for road or mountain bike.
I've tried out many mobile phone holders on bikes over the years. The all-silicone ones are quick to move between bikes and cushion the phone from bumps but it's a pain getting phone out to text, take photos etc The rigid plastic types tend to have the opposite characteristics. This Lamicall combines the best of both: it can accommadate large phones; they are securely held by the inner rubber ridges; the red catch underneath prevents the arms from opening; the clamp (with the correct choice of rubber grip-strip from the different thicknesses provided) holds device to handlebars of varying diameter. It is well made from what appear to be components of suitable material of good quality. I've tested it out on my Trek MTB over rough terrain and it works a treat, though the ball & socket joint needs to be tight to avoid movement. It sticks fairly high above handlebars and isn't pretty but that's a small price to pay for something that holds your phone safely where you want it ; )
